Absolutely Amazing
Reviewed 3 days ago

Arrived early and was told by a lovely lady that they would get our room ready early and prepared a pot of tea and coffee for my husband and I.

We had been upgraded to a suite and even though it was the hottest weekend in the year so far there were fans in the room and it was lovely. (No aircon in that room).

With breakfast included I was in for a treat, fresh haddock with a boiled egg and hot toast and a lovely strawberry preserve.

The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble. So with Baker Street literally yards away you are in a hub of liveliness until the footy came on that is!!

Call the hotel direct and cost you’re room this way, we had a better deal.

We will be returning to the Durrants, Teresia, the manager is one special lady, who is welcoming as is her team. Stay here and you won’t go far wrong. ENJOY.

Classic English style in great location
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The hotel is located just off stylish Marylebone High Street in easy walking distance to Oxford Street. It has the feel of an English country house with wood panelling and leather armchairs.
The staff are genuinely friendly and there is a high level of service in all areas.
We had a bedroom at the front. It was airy, air-conditioned and furnished to a high standard. The bathroom was modern and the toiletries were high end.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant. It is a leisurely, semi-formal affair with silver service. The food was tasty and the menu went from English to waffles.
For a first time visitor to London this hotel will give you a real English experience, away from the multiple chain hotels.

Too dusty

The hotel is cute, members of staff kind, but the rooms are filthy with dust. Windows frame and chandeliers are covered in dust. It’s my third time there but this time is the last one, not worth the money.

A great stay

I did not know of this hotel but was happily surprised to have discovered it.
Not your typical 4* hotel - older English feel and a little quirky, but very comfortable and in a great location.
I would certainly return.

correction of my previous review

I have said in my previous reviews about a website called All our yesterdays, it is in fact called Yesterday Once More. I would recommend this Hotel , it is abit dated but everything else from the staff, to the food and service, we found was all excellent
