Welcoming hotel, with kind personnel and well positioned. The hotel offers several meeting rooms at ground floor. The bedrooms are not gigantic but very comfortable and not noisy at all. The breakfast is "à la carte" only so I could not appreciate its range but it was very good. Excellent wifi.

Fantastic experience.

What a beautiful hotel, couldn't fault it from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Staff were fantastic and very helpful, can't recommend Durrants enough.
Full English breakfast was amazing, didn't eat in the restaurant.
Fantastic location, very close to the Wallace Museum, worth a visit also.

Charming or just old?

Stayed two nights at the hotel. Location is very good - Marelybone is always a good place to be. Can not quite make up my mind if the hotel is 70 pct charming or 70 pct just old..... Very nice with an open fire In reception area and old flooring. Not so charming with worn carpets and lack of paint. The door handle in our bathroom was broken so not possible to get in there the first night. This was fixed the next day but didn’t really feel they thought it was such a big deal not being able to use the bathroom during the night.
We might try again sometime just to determine whether it is old and charming or just old.

We regularly stay here a few times per year. This hotel is very traditional English Country House in decor and warm and inviting in cold weather. Yet again we had a lovely time. We received an upgrade and enjoyed a lovely room which was vey comfortable and an easy route from reception. We spent some time in the bar due to the cold weather outside (!), enjoying drinks and coffees. The staff were exemplary and kept adding logs to the real open fire so it was very warm and cosy. We asked for an iron and ironing board and this was bought to the room quickly. All the staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast menu was extensive and with large portions. I loved the presentation of the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, which showed thought and care behind the cooking of the food. We will continue to stay at this hotel when we are in London as it is also very easy to access Oxford Street and extensive shopping. An excellent stay and welcome.
