How to Get There
I stayed here over the weekend and found that the staff were very helpful. I have a physical disability and they accommodated my needs very well before booking and on arrival.
The hotel is beautiful and in a very good location, right next to my favourite church and in the heart of the city.
The food is so delicious too.
I am definitely going to be staying again soon and again over Christmas. I cannot wait.
I will post some photos soon too.
Thank you all for your kind, heart warming hospitality.
I thought hotels like this didn’t exist anymore. Not luxury but elegance, a visual pleasure. Single room is simple but charming and perfectly comfortable with a lovely view. The big bath after a long day of walking was most welcome. I was too tired to go out to a restaurant and was surprised by an excellent dinner in the beautiful old dinner room. I will be happy to come back.
This hotel is my absolute favourite in London, not only because it is fantastic value (try and find a decent room for under £200 in London!) for the location (so central!) but also because it has many very charming touches like the silverware, the many fireplaces, the postbox and all the decor that feels like out of a victorian movie. I call it the "little" Claridge's, because it might not excatly be of that standard but it feels like it.
Most rooms have a bath (even the single ones), a coffee machine and I love the view of the church. And the service is great, lovely people all round. I'll be back again soon!
