Another comfortable stay

This was our second stay at the Draycott. We had 2 adjoining rooms and kitchenette for our family of 4. The kitchenette which included clothes washer and drier were excellent and added to the ‘home away from home’ feeling. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. The afternoon tea and pre dinner drink are a lovely addition

Top Class Hotel with Superb Service

We visited the Draycott Hotel for three days in March 2018 to visit the Ideal Home show. The location is also brilliant for the museums, Harrods, King Road, etc.
The hotel is quite unassuming from the outside being three very large residences combined into one facility, but what a facility. The rooms are full of character and period Edwardian furniture, the rooms have no numbers, being identified by stage and literature notables. The drawing room has direct access to Cadogan Gardens lawn and flower beds.
We arrived early at 10.00hrs hoping to leave our cases, but were pleased to be offered tea in the drawing room and were soon advised that our room was ready. We had been upgraded to a fantastic suite with a complimentary bottle of wine. The beds were huge and comfortable, the evening meal was delicious and the service was impeccable.
We liked the nice touches of complimentary late afternoon tea and biscuits served in the drawing room, later followed by pre-dinner champagne. Hot chocolate is also available in the drawing room before bedtime - all served in china teaware. The concierge offered us free tickets for the Satchi Gallery BADA event, an enjoyable event.
All in all a great experience. Well done to all staff and management.

Discreet in a quiet street just off Sloane Square . Friendly staff . Classic decor with good sized rooms . Our superior double had plenty of space with a sofa as well . Cool and airy on a hot London day . Bed was wide and extremely comfortable with pillows to match . We got a good price on website

Under-stated elegance close to central Knightsbridge
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

By myself for a late decision Monday night business meeting in London, arriving post 4 pm and needing to leave 4 am for an early flight ex Heathrow. The Draycott provided convenient location to & from the airport, and an excellent base to host my business guest for a glass of champagne, a walk in the garden and pleasant walk to nearby dinner at Zafferano. The room style may be old fashioned but the bathroom fitting is top drawer and modern, with clever automated lighting at entry. Superb comfortable and roomy bed, and room, and despite close proximity to central Knightsbridge - extremely quiet. My requirements for staff were limited - check-in, check-out, show room, serve champagne, procure a taxi on departure but all very attentive, timely, most courteous. Great camaraderie amongst guests in the drawing room - ranging from young couples to parents on holiday with older children. On this basis, I will be back.
