Faultless price-quality ratio, excellent location

This is a good small hotel that clearly prides itself in welcoming and overall excellent service. As is the norm in London, the rooms are small - I stayed at room 410 which is the basic level. My room was faultlessly clean, had an excellent bed and a good size TV for example, so size has not resulted in compromises regarding the room amenities. Nice breakfast. The location right next to Marble Arch Tube station is extremely convenient, not being right on the Oxfrod St helps the hotel stay quiet.

Great hotel near Marble Arch

I travel to London every year for a theatre break. I like to stay near the West End.
This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. Everything was great. I am a light sleeper, so I asked for a quite room and the design of the hotel, there are interior rooms and they are very quite. (The city actually tore up the street in front and on the side of the hotel which lasted all night and in my room, I did not hear anything.)
The staff was very welcoming. I have already booked the hotel for the last leg of my trip.

Rest like home

I have now stayed here 3-4 times while in London for both personal and business travel. I have grown accustomed to the rooms and feel at home in the comfortable bed. Always a good nights rest at the DoubleTree Marble Arch.

Not appropiate

I was expecting something more for the price we were charged. Rooms are very small small. Internet in the rooms is charged at a very high price. Definitively will not be repeating on my next visit to london.

Spent two nights before hitting Manchester. This hotel is expensive but generally I wasn’t happy about the standard. Arrived into a small reception, found the bathroom basin malfunctioning and had to request vacuuming as dust allergy went through the roof. Rugs.

The restaurant, though small makes for cozy sitting and the food and service here was great. Room service too. Be careful though as this carries a £5 tray charge.

Well-located ie easy access to touristy parts of London.

Comparatively, I think it is over-rated. Will try another hotel for my last night ex Manchester.
