great location in the West End

Great location, especially for west end, oxford street, marble arch etc.
Clean and tidy hotel, dont expect any issues. I had a couple of minor problems i.e. the bathroom fan was continually on and so was a bit disturbing all night despite killing all lights, switches and closing the door. The duvet was also really light and poor quality, like a duvet going through an identity crisis and wanting to transform into a thick sheet.
Would certainly stay again though, was probably just unlucky with my room. Friendly staff and good services, didnt try it but appears to serve indian food in the restaurant, so will try that if I stay here again.

I do not like leaving negative comments about a hotel as I believe it is best to log a formal complaint directly to the hotel so that the issues can be addressed. However there are a few lessons I would like to share:
1. Always keep an open mind when reading commentaries
2. Always take a print out of your reservation especially if you have been provided with a special sale price etc. Not always do these show on the system when you check in.
3. when taking special deals in restaurants from the hotel itself or secret escapes etc., the restaurant always end up embarrassing the patrons because you are on a special deal. In this instance neither did the restaurant nor the hotel staff know the terms of the booking as our reservation included dinner and breakfast. We were kept waiting for quite awhile for the supervisor of the restaurant to work out the additional payments that we had to make. No issue with paying this, it would have just been better for all concerned if it was made clear up front what dinner entailed and maybe a limit. However the meals that we had were delicious.
4. Keep all receipts!! when checking out the reception staff insisted that we owed money because the system told her so. The restaurant had requested that we pay them direct for any monies due, which we did, but payment was also showing on the system as outstanding. The female receptionist could do with some training in customer service as instead of saying sorry sir/madam but there seems to be a mistake here and please allow me to look into it. She instead argued with us that we did not make the payment because the system was showing it as outstanding. We soon found our receipts and the matter was sorted.
Apart from the above our stay was a very pleasant one and apart from the receptionist above, we found all the other staff to be very friendly, helpful. The breakfast was very good and the staff were happy to provide you with other dishes not included in the buffet. Also despite being a buffet the service from the staff was very good.
The front desk staff were also very responsive. As we were checking in without asking, the concierge offered to take our bags for us. Similarly when checking out the concierge (different one) insisted on helping us with our bags.


Great customer service from the front desk staff and the concierge. When ever I need something they were very helpful and responded quickly. The beds were very comfortable and housekeeping sure knows how to make a bed. The bathroom was fully equipped with lots of toiletries for use. The wifi was free and worked very well only when on it, I would miss texts and calls if the phone was out of my hand as the wifi would cut, but I figured out a trick where I would play music in the background and it will keep the wifi connected.
