Love this place for afternoon tea
Reviewed 2 days ago

Took my young daughter for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. The manager squeezed four of us in on a busy Saturday and all the staff were very sweet, kind and welcoming. She even got some cookies to take home. Yummy sandwiches, scones and cakes and attentive service. We have been a few times now (with a Groupon deal) and will definitely be back. The decor is lovely too. There's a beautiful light that hangs above the stairs in the tearoom/bar that I covet every time I visit - it's like something from The Great Gatsby!

Cozy place with very friendly staff

We went for a family holiday for 8 days and stayed at Double Tree in Greenwich. At first i felt that the hotel was very far away. But once we stayed there and experienced the hospitality of the team, we were convinced this was the right place for our holiday.

Post concert place to stay

Saturday was the second time in as many months that I have booked to stay at this hotel. Both times the stay has been excellent with the staff going out of there way to ensure a pleasant visit. Also Sunday morning breakfast is very chilled with excellent food selection with no pressure or hassle to get the table for other guests.

The location is also great for all guests as it it close to the DLR and easy access to the A2 to get out of the city. On both occasions we took the opportunity to venture into Greenwich village and the park, which are both a stones throw away

I will be back again this summer

Great hotel, second visit

We stayed here a couple of years ago and loved the hotel. We loved it just as much this visit. We had a basement room which was extremely comfortable and spacious. The room was spotless, extremely clean as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and a pleasure to sleep in, the bathroom was modern, spacious and shower had excellent water flow. The hot water did take a while to get hot. The reception staff were excellent and very helpfully. We ate at the restaurant a few times and found the food to be excellent, the prices were reasonable. The service in the restaurant was also very good. Location not too bad, generally takes about 25 minutes to get into London, getting to places like Victoria station takes around 50 minutes. Would definately stay here again when next in London.

Great hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel several times now and it is always a pleasure. I discovered it after not being able to get a room in the Canary Wharf Hilton and this was the next closest.

This really is a little gem of a hotel, compared to the Hilton Canary Wharf which is all business this is quite intimate and could be described as a boutique hotel.

Great food, great staff and only 15 mins on the DLR to Canary Wharf and usually a lot less expensive than many hotels in the area.
