How to Get There
The hotel location, while Chelsea is not in a nice area at all as you get close to the harbor. Gets more industrial. So unless you have business at the harbor itself, which I didn't even realize existed, definitely don't stay here.
This is not a hotel I would ever stay at again nor recommend to anyone unless someone was under age 55. I had prepaid everything, went for breakfast the first morning and told by a grumpy man I was not on the list. So I went to the front desk and they told him their error for not having me on the list. Then the deputy manager cam and talked to me as there were other difficulties with/omissions by he hotel as well plus the first breakfast. Then after I arrived home I was invoiced for the breakfast that I had already paid for. I tried phoning and the call centre is in India and they said it was not something they could resolve. Tried another phone # five minutes ago and still am on hold.
We just returned from a trip to London and loved staying at this hotel. We didn’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of Central London and this hotel was perfect for us. There’s a small grocery store/drugstore across the street which is super handy if you run out of something or forgot to pack a necessity. The overground is right behind the hotel and is only around a two minute walk. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and we enjoyed it each morning we were there. The hotel restaurant is also very good, and my son wanted an ice cream sundae every night! We were warmly greeted by Floor when we checked in, and she soon became a favorite by our entire family. We hated to say goodbye to her and leave the hotel and London. Our room was clean and comfortable. Floor, if you’re reading this, please know how we appreciated you bringing our son his milk and straw each morning, and we all absolutely love and adore you! Employees like you are what make a hotel great!
The staff is friendly and helpful, and is conveniently located by the Tube. The location affords you the ability to navigate London fairly easily. Food in the hotel was really good, although it took a long time to get one of the drinks ordered. I would likely stay here again, no doubt about it.
Incredible experience. From the moment we booked to the minute we reluctantly left ... 150% great service, value, kindness and thoughtfulness unheard of in a large motel chain. Welcomed by Floor who made checkin a breeze ... and she looked after us for the whole of pur stay. Nothing was a problem or too much effort. Felt like we were the only guests! Food was great - breakfast buffet never wained. Great bar. Room was spotless and generous (6th floor) with lovely views. Luggage storage was convenient too. Overall, can't recomnend highly enough.
