Fantastic value and rooms!

I couldn’t believe how nice the rooms were here! The kitchen is small but very usable, the bathrooms are great, and having a separate living room is awesome! The on-site restaurant is utterly fantastic, and the pool is great as well!

Off beat yet central location, large accommodation for London.

We stayed for a night and were upgraded to an executive one bed apartment. The size of the apartment compared to London hotel rooms was amazing. Everywhere was very clean and check in and check out was efficient. Breakfast was good with buffet style and eggs cooked to order. The spa and pool were great and the gardens lovely too. Lots of places to go and eat within a 10 minute walk and you feel like a local more than a tourist walking around the area. Still 10 mins to central London in a cab. Parking on the street is free at weekends - check the signs when parking.

Lack of aircon makes rooms too hot to sleep in

I've been staying at these apartments several times over last couple of years, but no more. I was attracted to the swimming pool and gym but now realise I can do better in London and the downsides are overwhelming.

The place is let down by first lack of air conditioning or ventilation in all the rooms. The rooms are like a furnace in the spring or summer and even in autumn and winter with the window open (not able to open fully) it is sweltering. The small fan they provide is derisory. On the last occasion I stayed I asked for some extra sheets in addition to 2 I had the previous night and I was told there would be a £10 charge! My second gripe is with the service...and you can see what I mean by the charge for sheets. Often staff at reception are surly and unempathetic, which differs from other establishments charging the same or even less on occasion. My third issue is with the restaurant - breakfast is OK, but dinner is really not very nice. It's very strange why they do not invest in ensuring the on site restaurant is good. If you can tolerate a sweltering bedroom that will not allow you to sleep, and rudeness from staff, then this could be a good option to stay at.
