Dated and poorly maintained!
Reviewed 1 day ago

When we arrived the front door, main lift and disabled lifts were all out of service. Check in was painful as the 5 staff members seemed entirely uninterested in us. The room made us laugh - we had stepped back to the 1970’s! Maintenance in the communal areas we poor. The spa was lovely and we had use of the pool. Breakfast was limited but nice.

Really disappointed

This is going to be a very simple review.
Check-in - staff ok, it appears they are here just here and that's it, no welcome or anything, in fact over our stay all staff were pretty much like that.
Room: we to get there, up on lift, walk down a dirty smelly hallway into a really disgusting nasty lift to go down to another hallway to get to the room.
OK so it's somewhat clean, tvs are from the 30's and very limited channels. You can hear everything from the road, even people just walking by, in the second room all you can here is the wind in the hallways (haunted we think).
The smell, very strange, I'm pretty sure there's a urine smell in the living room.
Very disappointed here, especially as I had such fond memories from my childhood staying here, I beleive over 30 times back in the late 70/80's.
I suppose if you looking a cheap two bed place to stay, stay here. We will not be back and won't recommend it to anyone.

Nice, Well situated = I hope to come back

We had two apartments, unfortunately not on the same floor. Ours appears newly renovated and with a better kitchen so this review is based on that apartment.

Being on a strict medic diet (Low FODMAP) mean that being able to eat a simple homemade breakfast is absolutely necessary for a good vacation. This is why we chose here.

We have enjoyed this family vacation and had a good base at Dolphin Apartments.

We never got to the spa, pool or restaurant. Maybe next time.

Lovely big rooms

Stayed here for a night on business in March. Ended up being given a 2 bedroom apartment (slightly excessive for 1 person). Room(s) were lovely - very homely if you were staying for a week and lovely and clean.

Downsides: Area is not fit for a women travelling on her own, its not welcoming and at night its pretty unnerving. Thankfully i was with 2 other females and we ventured out to a nearby Pizza Express for dinner and met one of the ladies brothers. Another lady from the previous night had been on her own and was too scared to venture out after 8pm when she arrived. Not a great location.

The hotel ring fences £30 off your debit/credit card. This is not returned for almost a week and a half. I've never been to another hotel that actually uses this process - £1 yes but not the full amount. Our company had complaining to them previously but they continue to do it. Word of Warning.

Hope to not have to stay here again on business and won't be choosing it for pleasure!

Position: 9.5/10
Cleaning: 7/10
Service: 7/10
Quality/price: 5.5/10
General: 7/10
The price it's too expensive, the cleaning is underrated and the service it's pathetic. I don't suggest this place to tourists.
