How to Get There
Dolphin House is situated in a nice quiet area of Pimlico London. It's about a city block from the Thames River and right next to the lovely St George Park. We found several restaurants a few blocks walk away as well as several markets including a Tesco Express. It's 2 blocks away from the Pimlico Tube station (made for a short sweet walk home after a long day of sightseeing.) The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The Dolphin House somehow popped up in a Google search for London apartments with air conditioning ( it does NOT have air conditioning) but the wonderful staff made sure we had an extra fan to help keep the apartment cool (my wife and I are cold weather people!!) The apartment itself was very comfortable with all the little things you need for a home away from home. They did have a quirky WIFI which required us to constantly get a new updated password, otherwise very pleasant. Thank You Dolphin House for taking care of us during our London Adventure!!
Stayed here for a night. We were upgraded to a massive one bedroom suite, far more than we needed in fact. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the room was spotless. liked the touch of having a small quantity of milk in the fridge as well as tea bags and an espresso coffee machine. Very quiet and very close to Pimlico underground station
I stayed here for a night with my best pal. We had a studio apartment but it was more than enough space for the two of us. Checking in and out was very long and if not for this I would have give 5 stars. The apartments were in a great location for visiting west end and there was ample parking in the road outside and nearby. There are lots of take aways (we used Deliveroo) nearby and a tesco metro round the corner which is really handy. Our room was really modern and spacious with a kitchenette and a bath. We didn’t use the facilities as we arrived late but with the price we paid I couldn’t fault it and look forward to booking again.
Easy to book. Fab friendly and helpful staff. Upgraded our room to a suite. Stunning decor, comfy bed and a great shower. Milk was in the fridge which was a lovely touch. The room was quiet with no sound from outside or other rooms. So close to Victoria and Pimlico station walking distance to the victoria theatre. Local corner shop 2mins walk sells EVERYTHING. Can not fault this hotel and will be staying again fo a longer stay so i can use the spa and swimming pool
Good location. Away from noise but a short walk to Pimlico tube station. However you need to travel to eat as the kitchen is useless, local cafes are mostly awful and the restaurant at the accommodation is overpriced and doesn't offer anything we wanted to eat.
This place has the dumbest WiFi system I've ever come across - even the staff admitted that "it's a bit weird". We found we had to follow a convoluted work around to get the WiFi access and then every time you leave the building with a device, such as a smartphone, you have to go through the workaround to log back in when you return. Tedious and dumb. The bedroom was a good size as was the living room and the bathroom was huge...although all could have made better use of the space. However the "kitchen" was ridiculously small - just a cupboard sized alcove in the entrance with a sink, microwave and a few items of crockery. The cutlery was just sitting in the bottom of the cupboard under the sink.
