How to Get There
Visited on a Saturday evening for drinks and some food in the bar. Admittedly there were a couple of functions taking place but the service was poor in the bar. Food took 25 minutes to arrive, chicken kormas and the battered haddock had been battered so much it was hardly there under the batter. Eight chips!
The duty management were not responsive to complaints either.
2 night I was this hotel.Purity is everywhere The staff is helpful Breakfast very good. Staff it is nice..The hotel is relatively centrally located...The bar is very slow to serve. The room has a kettle, coffee and tea. You must pay for the use of the safe
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my mum and daugher for christmas break.. nothing special.. staff very odd not very welcoming or happy! Reception area lovely.. bedrooms massiv let down!! Very dark! Food ok.. location good.. overall i would not go back!!
I booked the Trueman suite for my sons 6th birthday and have to say the staff were very helpful throughout the planning stage and more importantly on the day. Petro was assigned to look after us during the event and we met him on the evening before and agreed the layout which he sorted completely to our satisfaction by the following morning and on the day was very attentive. We had booked food and had a couple of kids with allergies but when the food was served one of the managers (I think his name was Hussein) came with a list of ingredients for each dish to ensure there were no issues which I think was a very nice touch. A special mention goes to Gabriella who made our son some origami stars and made an effort to pop in on the day to ensure everything was going to plan.
The staff are very professional and very accommodating to my every need to make my stay a pleasure as always. Always a pleasure to stay at the hotel for that reason. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The restaurant is lovely and the hotel is so convenient to bus or tube travel. The rooms are very nice and well appointed and the cleaning staff are impeccable with cleaning my room always. The hotel is very welcoming and feels like a home away from home.
