Ok but not without issues

Booked a 2 bed suite for a birthday treat. Email received 24hrs before arrival saying our room had been changed due to the booked room no longer being available.
Arrived to be told our suite had been change to 2 bedrooms with and interconnecting door. We advised reception this was not good enough so she showed us the room then offered another alternative. The alternative as a Junior suite each (next to each other). We accepted these rooms , the receptionist was lovely and arranged a bottle of Prosecco as a birthday treat.
The rooms were ok but you need to be trained to work the lighting .. good god that was complicated and as for the TV why on earth does it turn itself off after roughly 1 hour? No warning just says goodby and switches off?? This was the same in both rooms and we could not work out why!
Few minor issues with the rooms but in general they were well put together and clean.
All went well from there on in, until
BREAKFAST:
Please put a label on the HOT WATER I was not the only one to struggle to find it
Please ask the kitchen to keen a closer eye on the stocking of the hot food on offer , it was almost completely empty when I went to get a plate full.
All in all breakfast was good however the way its set out does make for a LOT of walking from one end of the room to the other so myself and my mum never really sat down for long together we were always up and about.

IN CONCLUSION
Nice clean hotel , fantastic staff , morning noon and night!!! Room we eventually had were well appointed but we did feel they tried to get away with a downgrade before they actually pulled their socks up and made appropriate offerings .. this is not the fault of staff on duty we think this maybe more a management issue.

LOCATION
Tucked away with no nearby tube or train .. TAXI cost minimum £20 to get anywhere significant unless you are happy to go on the bus.

Lovely relaxing stay

Myself and my husband decided to book this hotel due to the spa and hotel being in the same building and it’s close proximity to London.

Before arrival arranged to upgrade our room to a suite and tbh it was well worth the small money we paid , stunning views of London from the private balcony & a beautiful large comfy room!

We booked through spa seekers and the deal was amazing but I have to say the spa itself nice but very small . I did find the fact I didn’t fill out any questionnaire before my treatment was bizarre which led to my skin turning dry & sore other than that my husband really did enjoy he’s massage so not all bad.

The suite we had was amazing comfy bed , lovely bathroom waterfall shower and free toiletries which was a lovely touch . The pillow spray is Devine and helped me sleep again a lovely touch .

It was our wedding anniversary and we arrived to a lovely cake and card from the hotel again another lovely touch .

Drinks on par with London prices with a service charge at every step again expected in London , my only gripe was the deposit which for us was £80 I did see others being charged differently which I didn’t understand? And we were charged double for things we added to our room so advice to check bill at the end and watch for extra charges once you have left .

Dinner was average not what I would expect for such a beautiful hotel but was ok . Not much close to this hotel so don’t expect a lively night unless you want to travel into central London Uber each way around £12 . Breakfast in bed was a small extra charge well worth it and was wonderful.

We won’t be staying again mainly due to the over charges and little things that we didn’t think were up to standard for such a highly rated hotel but would say it has the wow factor in some areas so give it a try .

Riverview Suites

Spent 1 night at Crowne Plaza Battersea from 18th November - 19th November. Booked a Spa treatment with dinner & breakfast package through spabreak.com which I highly recommend.

Originally given a standard room but we were celebrating my cousin’s 32nd birthday so opted to upgrade our room for only £40 extra & we were not disappointed! Views over the river and the helicopter pad were stunning.

Spa was great. Smells amazing as you walk in and looks beautiful. I received a 25 minute back, neck and shoulder massage which really has worked wonders for the tension in my neck and shoulders. Spent some time in the sauna and steam room. Didn’t go for a swim as Ihave a cold but the pool looked lovely.

The PAD restaurant has a good range of options on the set menu. Soup of the day was cauliflower and potato which I enjoyed and ordered the chicken burger for the main which was also nice.

The river view suites are stunning and I was the highlight of the trip. The room was extremely spacious with chairs and a cocktail table. Bathroom is modern with a great rainfall shower. Kettle provided along with tea coffee. Complimentary still and sparkling water is also available.

Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Hot buffet provided as well as continental.

I would highly recommend to adults- especially couples looking for a quick getaway in London.

Beautiful hotel

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel.
What a fantastic hotel!
Check in was seamless, we were put in room 1403 on the 14th floor. The room was absolutely stunning everything was clean the bathroom was beautiful, room was a large size for a London hotel.
The views were something else.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in the local area. We travelled to city centre everyday which isn't an issue if your prepared to uber or walk along the embankment.
London heliport is right next door and unless the balcony door was open we couldn't hear a thing.
I actually proposed to my now fiance on the balcony it was that beautiful.
Thank you guys x

Pleasantly surprised; great value

I didn't know what to expect when I was booked into this hotel for a business trip - I've had some terrible experiences with hotels in London, including supposedly high end ones. But the Crowne Plaza Battersea truly exceeded my expectations! The room was comfortable and very specious with a huge bathroom. Fantastic hotel if you need to be in this part of town
