How to Get There
I came here for a birthday spa break on the 9th February for one night. We had booked a deluxe room, with breakfast, dinner and spa access. We were checked in by a lovely lady who was still doing her training. She gave us all the information we needed about the hotel, and we then checked in to room 209.
The room was spacious with nice interior. The bathroom was perfect with a lot of mirrors, shower and a bath. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean.
Extra thank you to the hotel for delivering a birthday treat to my room, it was much appreciated.
We had a lovely afternoon in the spa, and then went for dinner at the restaurant later in the evening. The staff at the restaurant were attentive, and food was good. We LOVED the kale salad. During dinner we saw a helicopter land right outside the window, which was really cool and even though it's not a part of the dining experience, it made it extra special.
Breakfast at the hotel was great: They have both a buffet and a menu that you can order from. The only thing I was missing (as a Scandinavian I guess) would be some fresh vegetables, maybe tomato or cucumber slices.
The only reason I'm not giving it a 5* is because the room was a little bit tired. I think the carpet needs to be changed, and some of the furniture looks a bit worn out: but that didn't stop me from really enjoying my stay here.I would recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be back.
Recently visited here and had lunch and drinks in the resturant. My friend is elderly and has a back problem. The Manager Gabriel went out of his way to make us comfortable and was so professional and kind. The food and drinks were excellent. We will be returning soon.
Great value room. Lots of little luxuries included. River view double chosen. View of the helipad was fun. Somme tired parts to the room. Bed runner was covered in stains which I think is just gross but not unusual in many hotels. We just folded it and put in the wardrobe. Staff at this hotel are really nice once they get going. I think they are a bit quiet generally but were quite eager to help once we said hello and we had a great breakfast.
I have stayed here many many times and am always greeted with excellent service. For London it is a great price if you like a little luxury without the huge price tag! Spa and pool are a must to take you away from the hustle and bustle of London. Car park is good as well and breakfast is unreal! You can watch the helicopters take off whilst eating a croissant... can’t recommend enough.
Stayed here with the family over the Christmas period, we had a two bedroomed suite that was spacious and spotlessly clean.
The bathrooms were large and well stocked, robes, large fluffy towels and a great shower!
Friendly welcome at reception, the staff make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Slight problem with the heating in the room but a quick chat with reception and that was sorted, no problem.
This is a great hotel, our daughter lives in the area, when visiting, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!
