Excellent choice for location in London

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times as a business traveler and I love it. The last time I was there, I left my iPad by mistake in my room after checking out. I thought I’d lost it forever, but the hotel housekeeping service had located it and I got it back. I can’t recommend this hotel enough; I will never stay anywhere but here in London, for business or pleasure. They are courteous, honest, and helpful.

Great location,sub-par hotel.

The location of this hotel was amazing, you can walk to any of the biggest areas and there is a tube station right outside. could not have been a better location. The room was comfortable, but you either get a giant room with a queen bed or a tiny room with a king bed. The bathroom was cramped and the shower was not user friendly. the club living room was nice. Do NOT eat at the bar/grill they have inside the hotel. total waste of money for bad food and terrible service. The concierge at the hotel was helpful, but sometimes gave wrong directions. The elevator was cramped and we had to take 2 trips down with our luggage when trying to check out (we had 4 people with one bag each). Overall, I might stay here for the location, but definitely not for the amenities.

In my opinion: Good location, this hotel appears to survive on one off tourist business. Awful rooms in need of refurbishment, dark, small and dingy, bathroom was shabby and didn't look or feel clean, main light shade rattled loudly when guest in room above moved around, unwelcoming and unhelpful staff, if you have an alternative option, take it.
