I highly recommend this aparthotel or any of their properties. The units are spotless with a kitchen, pots and pans, washer/dryer and great service. They have truly made our stay in London a wonderful experience. They were a great fine. Front desk staff is always so helpful! We will return!

great place to stay and super hot Indian Michelin star Kahani restaurant downstairs

Great place to stay, very close to the station and local destinations, they have a great Indian michelin star restaurant downstairs who deliver awesome food and deserts that make the mouth water.

I called up down stairs and ordered a selection of indian dishes and a the most unique looking melt in the middle cheesecake which was brought to me by the waiter from downstairs and they threw in loads of complementary extra's for staying in cheval fo when we down in the evening, from welcome drinks, to deserts for being a guest at cheval. Now thats a package

Fantastic location, service and value for money

After having lived in London for almost ten years, this was my first time staying in 3rd party accommodation but thankfully, the cosiness/location/apartment style/service made me feel right back home again. Little details like having a fridge full of essentials (eggs, bread, milk, smoked salmon, juice, cheese) coupled with a kitchen, washing machine, trouser press and The White Company toiletries in the bathroom, made the stay a breeze. The staff, although I didn't require their assistance that much, was very friendly and cheerful. The location is next to Sloane Square and it's walking distance to a number of museums, Hyde Park, shopping streets and most importantly next to Sloane Square tube which connects you with the whole of London. I highly recommend Cheval Phoenix House for anyone wanting to have a proper London experience!

After many great stays here over a number of years the last stay was a major disappointment

Having stayed at Phoenix House many times and always received a warm and efficient check in, a lovely room with great facilities and posted highly favourable reviews I was disappointed to find that a family were staying next door with two out of control screaming little girls. Their high pitched screaming, yelling, jumping and general noise was as if they were in our room. I called down to reception, explained the problem and asked them if they could deal with it. They promised they would. The noise continued.
We requested a room change and were told that there were alternative rooms available but they wanted to see if matters improved first! We were told the parents had said 'children will be children' and that the staff were unable to do anything.
On returning to our room following a concert I asked if we could be certain of not being disturbed early in the morning by the screaming kids and was told 'yes'. No room change was necessary.
At precisely 05.50am the following morning the screaming, yelling and jumping started again. We were unable to sleep.
Our whole trip was ruined by this - quite apart from the fact the television in our room did not work!
I complained to the staff at the front desk. I wrote in Cheval survey about what had happened and got a response from the Phoenix House Management saying they would talk to the staff about the incident! The new(?) Manager's idea of Customer Service seems somewhat limited given our trip and stay in London as well as our sleep had been ruined! So beware of staying here if you expect top class accommodation and service. The other Cheval residences such as Three Quays near the Tower of London are far far superior and sound proof!

Not what it used to be

Rooms badly in need of a makeover. Poor plumbing. Used to be my favorite place in London but no longer. All rooms need a redo. Location great but it is very tired and need of attention. Nice staff try their best.
