How to Get There
Have used the Cheval at Tower Hill and have been repeatedly impressed. However a five day stay in May did not repeat the experience.
The location is great and convenient.
However the bathroom was designed by an idiot, an accident waiting to happen. In 4F you need to be a contortionist to use the use the shower. Also the ventilation was non existent and was subsequently advised it was out of order. The smell was not five star more agricultural.
The living room despite being on the fourth floor, the windows were at virtual ceiling height giving the impression the apartment was in the basement and not the fourth floor.
A personal big bear you can’t open any window( real shame with that bathroom).
Just avoid 4F.
This apartment was in an excellent location for our visit to the Chelsea Flower Show. Apartment provided with our every need, well equipped, very clean, comfy bed, and a quiet area of Chelsea close to all the local bars and restaurants.
I was travelling alone and was perfectly pleased with my oversized studio, and the care given daily by housekeeping staff to keeping it very sparkling. With one exception, the staff was very helpful and congenial. The one exception was a young desk clerk who seemingly had a chip on his shoulder and I stayed clear of him. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable.
i want to thank all of the hotel staff for the great hospitality and I would recommend this hotel as one of the good places to stay in London and it is close to so many places and attractions in London
Overall a great experience. Location was very good. The concierge staff needs to have a better understanding of the tube and how to best travel from Sloane square. For example we were going to Gordon’s wine bar on 47 villars street. We were told to walk to Knightsbridge station take the Piccadilly line to charing cross. That isn’t a stop on the Piccadilly line. It turns out all we needed to do was take the district line from Sloane embankment four stops
