Hard to give more than four stars when I only had a cup of tea and a scone (both delicious).

The service was great, the seating comfortable and all in all a lovely experience.
Next time I might have a meal and give it five stars!

First visit here for a birthday celebration. Staff friendly and super-professional. Room was larger than expected and tastefully decorated with a large modern bathroom. Complimentary champagne and birthday cake was a welcome touch. Very quiet considering central location and great breakfast selection in the morning. I would love to visit again in future.

Amazing stay and hotel really looked after us

Stayed here for business last Monday night and what a great hotel. Efficient check in and staff were most helpful. Looked after us very well.

We booked the Library the next day for media interviews and they certainly helped us with all the details such as a state of the art telephone!

Food was absolutely delicious although according to my American colleague, coffee might not have been the best. However, still perfect stay.

Review of the Bar

A rather cramped space although lots of vibe. An interesting cocktail list although appeared rather overpriced for the content of the beverage. Some great bartenders, some not so great! Really vibrant buzzing area with so many choices of bars and restaurants.

An outstanding experience!

My family (my husband and twin girls) stayed at the hotel for 6 nights at the end of May/early June. We could not have asked for a more wonderful experience! Everything about our stay was really exceptional. Initially, I contacted the hotel and spoke with Holly. She explained that the sofa bed could only sleep one of the children and an additional bed would be required, so we stayed at the one bedroom Woolf suite which was perfect for our family. The hotel is not ostentatiously “fancy” but it is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff make you feel like you are being welcomed home every time you return to the hotel. Everyone from Shanake at reception to Chris at the front doors to Alvyda at the Oscar restaurant was warm and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Our breakfast was included and was fantastic. The suite had great bedding and was exceptionally clean. A record player (for old school vinyl) in the room added a very cool special touch. Yes, it’s a high-end luxury hotel, but we were most impressed that there was no unnecessary pomp or ceremony about the place or the staff. The location in Fitzrovia is excellent- lots of good options for restaurants and close to some sights, theatre and shopping. While the Woolf suite is one of the more expensive options it was worth every penny (or pence if you prefer)! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the perfect location, wonderful staff and fantastic rooms.
