Mother's Day Treat
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Last Sunday , Mother's Day my son & his partner treated me to Afternoon Tea & Cinema at Charlotte Street Hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole afternoon - the setting ,the quality of the food ( the scones were so good ),excellent service especially by Joao . The cinema was such a perfect end to the experience . It was so convenient having it in the hotel : comfortable & cosy watching " All is True" featuring Judi Dench.
A truly special event for a special day!

Great for a quick drink or a long one!

It's one of my favourite spots in London and has been for years. With a wonderful outside terrace and terrific indoor bar, set in the heart of Soho, the Charlotte Street hotel is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy the moment.

Great place

Wonderful location, very friendly staff, very comfortable and well decorated, modern, rooms with lovely details such as Bluetooth hi-fi devices for my iPhone. I recommend the staff and especially Ms Holly Winfield who is a very caring manager.
My only caveat is about the breakfast, with a very slow staff. I do not recommend breakfast at the hotel if you are in a rush.

Husband and I came for an overnight stay to watch a show and this place is a dream! Yes it is high end price-wise but seriously they have filled it with only top quality EVERYTHING! From the mattress, to the duvet, to the chocolate box gift, opening the door, breakfast, TV in the bath, the shower has pressure, they provide a hair bobble, quality of the furnishings....
let me give you more: you have a lift that you don’t need to faff around swiping a card to get it up, they take your car away, cocktails are good, breakfast is fabulous, and those bowls you use to help yourself at the breakfast buffet are not small, when you leave they give you a little bottle of water each.. it’s just top level service!

Excellent property but don't look for a room with a view

We stayed at Charlotte Street hotel on a couple's staycation in London. This lovely boutique hotel is located a short walking distance from the busy Oxford Street. However, the street where the hotel itself is located is surprisingly much quieter and blends into the surrounding Fitzrovia area.

Check-in was smooth and we were impressed with the tastefully selected art pieces in the reception. That artistic theme continued all the way to our room. The room itself was tastefully furnished without being over the top. Our window looked out to a side street where there wasn't much of a view.

However, we didn't mind this. What the hotel lacks in views, it makes up for with proximity to a number of very decent restaurants and bars. After a day exploring the surrounding area, we were pleased to return to the comfort of our room (king size bed was very decent).
