Staff is everything!
Reviewed 3 days ago

I picked the Beaufort Hotel because I knew it would be super-convenient for walking everywhere. And it was. I did not realize the level of comfort that would be achieved here. The staff is nothing short of magnificent. Really caring; removing the awful anonymity of travel found in big hotels. Little touches were charming and appreciated too, such as homemade scones and tea served in your room or downstairs at the end of the day. I had to send a package back to NY and they even found me a box and tape. Unusual and special, indeed.

Great location, central yet peaceful

The Beaufort is a home away from home, the friendly staff always make you feel welcome and the afternoon tea with scones is a nice touch. If you wish to visit the West End you can't go wrong staying at this comfy Boutique hotel.

Bad trip - no gym; bad breakfast; no onsite restaurant so all food comes from off site
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Stayed in Jan 2019 for a trip that was a mixture of business/to see friends. The hotel claims it has a gym - it does not. It has a partnership with a completely separate fitness centre a distance from the hotel. Breakfast is only served in the room - no sharing dining - and ordered in from a cafe down the street. The order was incorrect, and toast and coffee were cold. Room service until 10 only and this is also ordered in from an external restaurant. When room was cleaned, used glasses left behind. Would advise against staying here.
