Perfectly located and very charming small hotel with a great staff.Excellent breakfast . We really liked this little place with the good amenities. Close to some really good restaurants and the staff knows them all. We would come back in a minute.

We spent 10 nights at the Ashburn Hotel on Cromwell Road and loved it. This was out second stay at the Ashburn and our memories of a friendly staff and a good breakfast to start the day were on target. Everyone from the concierge to the front desk staff, bartender and room attendants were helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and a great place to retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. Love the living room area they have set up as the bar during certain hours.
The hotel location is great also. The Underground station is only a couple of blocks away and walking distance to the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as Harrods.
If you want to stay in a place that makes you feel welcome, this is it!

Excellent location!

Spent 4 nights in this boutique hotel which is located just few minutes’ walking distance from the Gloucester station. We found that the staffs were polite and helpful. The setting and size of our room were generally adequate, except that the curtain bar had fallen off sometime. The continental breakfast was barely acceptable though hot foods if inclusive will definitely render the hotel more competitive.

We stayed here for 5 nights. This was our second time at the Ashburn and it didn’t disappoint. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite large. There is a tube within 5 minutes walking distance as well as a supermarket. Would like to congratulate management on their staff and especially to the two ladies who work in the dining room during breakfast service. We would definitely recommend The Ashburn and will return.i celebrated a birthday here and was delighted to find a box of chocolates in our room, a lovely touch!

Disappointing stay

We are frequent travellers to the capital and had high expectations of this hotel. Unfortunately not fulfilled. If you are to ask for full payment on arrival plus 50 pounds deposit something that we have never had to pay in other 4 star hotels in London as I guess they think that if you are paying 350 for 2 nights stay there is a level of trust between the hotel and the customer and dont make you feel as if you're going to trash the room as soon as you've entered the hotel. Then at least make sure that the room is of a 4 star standard . Stained wallpaper. Cracked sink . Shower doors not closing properly .wooden headboard that was thick in dust . The tea making facilities there were so highly mounted a health and safety hazard. An unamaginative breakfast choice . The decor is tired .there are better 4 star hotels available for the money. And if you're wondering whether I have the crudentials to review . Yes I do as was previously an accommodation checker for a large holiday company .
