Top Points in Pimlico

We stayed here across two separate weekends and loved the atmosphere as soon as we arrived. A great boutique hotel with a sense of energy and enthusiasm that you just don’t get from the larger chains. A cosy loft room offered us everything we needed, with fresh milk provided and the lovely Bramley toiletries. The bed was the comfiest I have experienced in London and the location was incredibly peaceful given the central location. Tasty food in the Cambridge Street Kitchen downstairs and the bonus of a basement cocktail bar means you don’t have to leave the building! A real credit to all those involved in creating such an enjoyable experience for us.

Totally charmed!

My husband and I are currently in the final few days of our stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel, on a lovely quiet Street in Pimlico, London. We have booked a Club Suite, for a week, while we visit our daughter who lives nearby. It is the best location! Today we walked to Covent Garden (3km) , and yesterday we caught the tube from Victoria Station which is just around the corner.
This is such a charming place! The rooms are impeccably clean, the beds oh so comfortable, and the mini bar impressive!! I am an artist, and the reason I chose this place is partly because of all the unique and interesting artwork and eclectic furniture in every room. Even on the staircase! I just love it! The restaurant downstairs is fabulous. Every meal has been great! I can highly recommend a Rose Collins from the cocktail list.
My husband and I are extremely impressed with the Artist Residence London, and one day hope to return and try the others that are located around the UK. Thanks guys for making our stay so so lovely. We love your little hotel, and will be sad when we leave .

Amazing wedding & stay!

We have stayed at Artist Residence London a few times in the past & have always loved the feel of the place. The rooms are beautiful and the food is delicious.

In fact, we liked it so much, we decided to get married there!

We used the clubroom for a meal for about 35 guests and had a larger event there in the evening. We were so looked after my the events team, the feast style food was delicious, fresh, and presented beautifully, the cocktails were great, every little detail was taken care of.

Our family all stayed at the hotel - every single room was immaculate. We took the Loft room which was so romantic and cosy. Our whole party was looked after from beginning to end and I just can't wait to come back and stay again.

Beautiful artistic Boutique Hotel!

My boyfriend and I stayed there for only 1 night but we fell in love with it!
It's a very pretty unique small boutique B&B style hotel. The interior is so nice, every room is different. Good size and clean! We arrived late at night from another trip and had a few heavy suitcases, our room happened to be on the top floor, we felt really bad the staff lugged them all up on the stairs!!

And when we tried to go down to the restaurant for food (didn't eat all night), The Cambridge Street kitchen was closing in about 15mins when we were there but the chef knew we just arrived and were hungry, so he let us order and he stayed to make us an excellent dinners! That is very very nice of them. It just make us feel very special and showed that the hotel is very personal and welcoming.

Highly recommened and would definitely go back again!!

Nice Surprise

Its not the Berkeley just up the road, where I stayed for a week only last month, nor the Connaught or Claridges which are among my favourites in London, nor a Four Seasons or Aman Resort in Asia... but for London, for its price range and what it holds out to be, a lovely, quirky little surprise of a hotel in a surprisingly good location when one wants a particular kind of stay. Maybe not Mayfair or Kensington, but for a break such as this one is (a pure tourist week. meeting up with family and doing the London sights with them at sensible expense). I give it 5 stars because it lives up to what it is.

Of course, it doesn't pretend it to be any of the other preceding types of accommodation I mention, which are in a different type of ranking - a major problem with Tripadvisor being able to really compare like with like... sometimes I stay in the finest places in the world that most cannot live up to because they are what they are in terms of investment and professionalism, sometimes I just want something cool, quirky and bohemian, sometimes I just want a good B&B and sometimes just a good self catering place in the wilds for whatever reason... all such have their 5 to 1 star scenarios.

Currently I'm in the largest suite, which is quirky and cute, atmospheric and nicely decorated with a really good mattress and great bedding , then moving up to the attic room the remainder of the week. So far staff are informally helpful and friendly, the atmosphere cool and quirky and the use of recycled furniture and interesting art just what I'm in the mood for on this trip, and the facilities seem very well received by all patrons.

I suspect people who give this place a lesser review are expecting a suite at the Berkeley or Connaught at 80% off... In reality this is really good for what it is and where it is and I'm enjoying the informality, residential feel and casual atmosphere in a surprisingly quiet and convenient location that is not overly pricey for central London.
