How to Get There
I was very impressed with the standard and size of the room - beautifully clean. Friendly helpful staff. The location was excellent - being very handy for many tourist attractions and also handy for the tube.
Very nice and quiet room. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Excellen wifi. We loved the variety of the continental breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. We booked directlx with the hotel and got a special deal which included free breakfast and a voucher for food or drinks for 10£. Great, hotel. We'll be back!
This is our third time staying at Apex Temple Court. It is a very nice hotel in an excellent location offering good value for money (in London).I would say on this occasion, the service on two occasions once in the bar and once in the restaurant was poor. The waiters were very keen to ask / take an order but on both occasions, forgot the order. The continental breakfast was also very poor, with food not appearing to be particularly fresh and the selection basic.
Stayed here for a quiet weekend away. Booked direct and the comms was excellent; check-in was easy and the room was very good quality particularly at this mid-tier price. The Hotel itself looks like it is in an old Barrister’s Chambers or similar but the inside is all modern boutique. And the location is great - just off Fleet Street - 15 minutes walk to both the South Bank and St Pauls.
And the caveat? The bar food. I know, I’m being picky. I don’t mind paying London prices for bar snacks - in fact I’d be prepared to pay more but this just wasn’t good enough; three slices of bread and frozen butter; 11 olives, a tiny amount of calamari. But the G’n T was good.
Sort the bar food and I’d happily give an extra star.
All facilities were taken care of. The bath area should be attended to so that bath water does not spill outside the glass partition. Any reason why shaving and dental kits were not provided? Need to provide more vegetarian items in the menu for breakfast. Overall, good experience and the staff at the reception counter were very cooperative.
