Outstanding hotel in Mayfair
Reviewed 6 hours ago

I stayed at 45 Park Lane for a few days late May, on a recommendation from a colleague. The experience was faultless. I booked a Park View Studio, which turned out to be a spacious room with a large functional desk, generous lounge area, king bed and large bathroom. The room looked out to Hyde Park, leading to a very pleasant view of green trees and blue sky when the blinds were raised every morning. The furnishings were modern and classy, with a lot of wood tones. The bathroom included twin wash basins, with separate bath and shower. The room service menu is extensive and arrives in your room remarkably quickly. I didn’t have an opportunity to try the restaurant but the bar is excellent. I was arriving from Heathrow very early in the morning so booked my room for the previous evening to ensure it was available when I checked in. A nice surprise when I got to my room, was the basket of bakery items waiting for me, with freshly squeezed orange juice. The most striking thing about this hotel, however, is the outstanding service. The staff are young and good looking in their black uniforms, and are very well trained. I lost track of the number of times I was greeted by my name. This hotel is a gem, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Good facility but service questionable

This is the 4th time I have stayed at 45 Park Lane hotel. In past 3 times service was good but this time overall service is not too good. Each night is $900 pound not cheap at all. Staff knock on door and rush into your room without waiting for response, room is not clean after return to my room in the afternoon, you always has to wait till 3pm to check in get your room,
if your flight arriving early in the morning do not use this hotel. If you check in time
is in the evening then it is ok as they do offer late check out.

Breakfast is always enjoyable for me. Love to have breakfast at hotel. It is easy to walk around, lots bar, Resturant’s around and a nice bakery coffee shops around corner. Hotel is in a high class business residence area. Taxi cue up in front of hotel ready to go which is very nice 👍.

King Bed is kind of hard for most people but it is ok for me but the pillow is too soft it disappearing on you even stack two of them.

House keeping does not always refill your coffee capsules and only offers 3 per day. Kind of piss me off when you run out of coffee by 10am and they do not refill coffee capsules at afternoon like other hotel. Don’t understand for £900 offers little coffee capsules is stupid. House keeping is amazing slow to clean the room. They also push wrong time to turn your bed. Slipper size is for small feet only better bring your own. They do not offer any power adaptors in your room so bring your own.

Monopoly Board Luxury on Park Lane

We stayed in this modernised Art Deco hotel.
Service and friendliness of the staff from the manager down was impeccable.
The suite was spacious and modern with large bath, large TV and all electronic techno wizardry.
It has a nice intimate bar for cocktails and light meals.
We dined at the Puck, restaurant incredible food, large portions,
we should have shared entree so we had room for dessert !!
The service of waitstaff in the restaurant was amazing, food delivered to both of us with a flourish and in perfect tandem, very theatrical and we felt very spoilt. The management gave my husband a surprise birthday cake as it was his 60th, very thoughtful.
From the hotel it’s a stroll to the upmarket shopping of Mayfair.
A longer walk takes you past Nelson’s column through Green park to the palace gates. Green park is just over the road and has a restful view from rooms facing that side.
Their sister hotel the “The Dorchester” over the road had the spa and is renowned for its high teas, but as we only had a day, we explored London instead ! We will save that for next time !
Highly recommend this hotel for friendliness and efficiency.

Beautiful 5* hotel

A stunning place to stay and have dinner; warmly greeted the moment we arrived and shown to our room. The room is just gorgeous; very modern (compared to the Dorchester, across the road) and facilities within the room and hotel surpassed my expectations! The bed is super comfortable and the bar downstairs is sophisticated and perfect for a nightcap.

This hotel is the acme of 5* luxury hotel experience. Dripping with Art and sometimes the actual artists themselves it never fails to astound with food / service / luxury. The dishes on offer in the Cut are great as are the wines and I would actually say that this is probably the best breakfast experience I have had in London beating the Wolsey as my go-to place. The English breakfast with truffle sauce was just divine. Well run and well visited for a reason.
