How to Get There
I have been visiting here monthly for over 10 years and I can't fault the place.
Being a single female travelling to London with my company I feel safe and secure here and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional and consistently take care of me and my requirements.
Yusef the Manager is superb; always greets me if he is there and makes me feel like it's a home from home.
The apartments are contemporary and well furnished with neutral colours and luxury you would expect from a 5* hotel but far better in my opinion.
Now I am over selling it everyone will want to come here.
Location is absolutely perfect for shops, incredible restaurants, nightlife and more.
We booked a 2 bedroom de luxe , for 9 days .
4 floor, very quiet , ( room not facing queens gate street ) excellent service, very clean.
Very convenient location for tubes, grocery stores ,pub and cafe.
Some pieces on furniture would need some refreshing,: sofa ....
Other than that, perfect stay
I took advantage of a good advertised “autumn” rate for 130 Queen’s Gate that was ideally located for a business trip to the UK.
Arriving early the staff did their best to make a room available well before the 2pm check in time. After a pleasant breakfast and coffee at Brown and Rosie cafe at South Ken I returned and my 2nd form room was ready.
The 1 bedroom unit at the rear was a quirky layout with living room kitchen and bedroom separated and joined by a twisty narrow corridor. It would be ideal for 4 people as the sofa bed in the living room meant the two rooms have a bit of separation. But for me it still worked.
The staff were friendly and the room was serviced attentively each day (the linen is changed every few days as normal for an apartment). The room at the rear with glimpses over the Mews behind was very quiet.
This is a great location only a few minutes walk from South Kensington tube (Central, District and Piccadilly Lines) and about 5 minutes to Gloucester Road (same lines but with elevators as well as escalators for those with bags).
There are plenty of eating and drinking options locally and South Ken is handy to
get to most of the London icons.
My only constructive criticism is that the unit had a frosted, wooden sash window over the shower/ bath and the wooden surrounds were well and truly rotted out and all they had done was try to paint over it. So the units might need a bit of TLC.
This was great value at the price i paid - booking directly with the 130 Queen’s Gate site. I’m not sure if the rack rate is good value.
But overall this was a great stay, it’s a great location and good accommodation with pleasant service - let down a touch by the need to do some modification and maintenance to a window. At this price I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. Thanks team.
I arrived at London Heathrow Airport very early in the morning and at the hotel about 9:30. To my surprise, I was upgraded and could use the room from 10:00, taking a good rest before I began to work. I really would like to thank you all the kind staff, especially Tiziana, who helped me a lot and made my stay very comfortable.
There is a good supermarket joust outside the Glocester Road Station, and I could cook and have a relaxing time.
The only problem was that the amount of hot water supplied at a time is limited, and I couldn't enjoy taking a bath (Taking a shower is OK.)
I really want to come back when I come to London.
I stayed for 5 nights in one of their 1-bedroom apartment. The apartment was very clean and definitely fully equipped with washing machine and all the necessary utensils. It has a small balcony which was a great place for breakfast on a sunny september morning.
The reception staffs are very helpful and efficient to make our stay even more wondeful.
The location being so close to 2 stations and hyde park is ideal for sight seeing and shopping. Almost every morning, we took time to jog and enjoy our time at hyde park.
I will definitely recommend anyone to stay here as it offers good value for money than staying at a small hotel room and the staffs are very friendly and helpful
No doubt that i will stay here again on my next trip to london
