Perfect venue to celebrate

Lovely hotel and great facilities.Chester is a little difficult to negotiate, especially the one way system, ensure to plan your journey into the city. Cuisine in “La Brasserie” is worth the difficult journey and the staff both in the restaurant and the hotel are very helpful and accommodating. If I were to be hyper critical the only fault I could find is the lack of icebucket within the room.

The chester Grosvenor is nice however isnt good if you want breakfast at 10.20

The hotel is nice but struggles if it has high occupancy and the service drops. we were unable to get breakfast at 10.20 and not even a coffee could be served. Virtually nobody cared. we left the hotel questioning what just happened

The Only place to stay in Chester

Dine across the various restaurants, the food is excellent in all of them. React with the staff, they are very friendly and knowledgeable about the place.Book in person directly with the hotel to get a better deal.

Wonderful

Stayed for two nights. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and location ideal.
Room extremely comfortable with plenty of room.
Quality of the bedding excellent and room immersed in darkness for a good night’s sleep.
Breakfast the only let down. Continental option poor in comparison to other similar establishments. Bakery option consisted of 4 different types of croissants, rolls etc. between two people. Coffee pots served luke warm and never the same strength twice! It would be good to have some sort of self service for juice, cereals and fresh fruit and waitng on service option for those who do not want to self serve.
I still give the hotel a high raiting as the overall impression was excellent and the breakfast staff eager to please.

Something special

I booked a room for my mum and her partner as a birthday surprise and they had the best time. Everything was very luxurious and all the staff couldn’t do enough for you. They had cocktails in their room and enjoyed a lovely breakfast the next day.
