Beautiful building some rude staff
Reviewed 1 day ago

Hotel is lovely, welcoming doorman and valet car service. Rooms spotless, large and great sleep. Continental breakfast
served efficiently and politely. Major gripe, staff in La Brassarie rude and ignorant. If you just want a drink in your hotel bar to relax forget it, and don't ask for a pint. Pints served to certain customers only??? What a way to attract repeat business.

Fabulous

Booked a cheeky midweek stay at The Chester Grosvenor....when we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to a suite - all I can say is wow !!! The hotel is amazing, the staff cannot do enough for you, from reception staff to the guys on the door, everyone was lovely and helpful. The room was out of this world although we resisted the urge to have anything from the mini bar as the prices were out of this world too...and not in a good way ha ha. We had some cocktails in the bar and also the continental breakfast the next morning was lovely too. I just could not fault this hotel at all and it was perfect to just wander outside and have plenty of choices of shops, bars and places to eat if you did not want to eat at the hotel. Will definitely be back here we loved it.

Wonderful hotel

Just got home from 4 fab nights at this gorgeous hotel. Greeted at door by the doorman, who unloaded the bags, arranged for them to go to the rooms and took the car away to be parked. Got checked in quickly, went to the Brasserie for a drink or two. Staff are all lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Had a slight emergency when Daughters teddy went missing after the beds were made. She was located in a laundry van having had a tour of Chester, picked up by a member of staff and returned to a very happy girl! The food is excellent, both at the Brasserie and Simon Radleys. The afternoon tea is well worth it too. All in all a fantastic stay, we would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be back!

Great hotel and food. Read up on the spa before you go.

Lovely hotel with amazing food and great rooms. Simon Radley experience is a must. Food and service were first class.
Rom was lovely and clean.
Spa facilities were disappointing and not great value for money.
