The Lowdown

Set along the picturesque Marina Centro promenade, surrounded by a lush park, the five-star Grand Hotel Rimini e Residenza is one of the most prestigious hotels not only on the beachfront, but in the entire city of Rimini. With glistening views of the Adriatic Sea and its own private stretch of golden beach, this hideaway exudes opulence through and through.
The lavish, elegant décor evokes a sense of nostalgia, from the exquisite Neoclassical exterior to the grand frescoed ceilings inside. Boasting modern-day necessities and comforts, yet retaining elegance and plenty of historic touches, the hotel is the perfect collaboration of old and new.

Superb guest service, impressive luxury hotel.

I stayed at their Residence but had breakfast in the GHR hall. This is one of the most opulent city hotels I've ever stayed at in Italy.
Marble rooms with pianos welcome you as you walk across the halls to get breakfast. Super rich breakfast with anything one could wish for: both cold and cooked.
Residence is a little rococo-dated, but kept in excellent conditions. Comfortable bed, great marble bathroom incl quality toiletries and especially above-and-beyond guest services from the Receptionists to the Head of Housekeeping (she brought me an extra pillow at 9pm at night!).

Main reception areas very grand but the newly renovated ‘Executive Suite’ was small and cramped and the walls so thin we come hear the tv blasting away next door. We did not have a peaceful night’s sleep.

Outstanding Hotel

Visiting for a couple of weeks and have been nothing but impressed with this hotel. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and right on beach. Private beach facilities are great with waiter service. Always good to know you have a place on the beach every day. Whilst we were there for nearly two weeks the food was different every night and was so good we did not go out to local restaurants as we normally would. We have eaten in some top restaurants and the quality was certainly up there.
Rooms were comfortable and clean and the holiday was given a certain elegance by our stay at this hotel.
Well deserving of the 5 star rating.
