Impressive One Santorini
What We Love
- A boutique design hotel on the Greek island of Santorini - includes wine, room choice and moreStaying in Pyrgos, the hillside village that was declared a “protected settlement” in 1995
- Ultra-stylish guest rooms, each with sleek decor, on-trend furnishings, and all mod cons
- Kicking back with limitless summer cocktails by the dip-worthy outdoor pool
- Enjoying drinks and light bites at the hotel, or exploring Pyrgos' culinary scene
What To Know
- Well located in the heart of Santorini
- Airport shuttle is available for an extra charge
- Free WiFi consistently works well
- Free private parking is available
The clue’s in the title at this newly opened boutique stunner in Santorin’s hilltop village of Pyrgos. Not only does Impressive One Santorini impress with minimalist Cycladic architecture, very thoughtful interiors, and first-class service, but its location near to four fabulous beaches makes it ideal for those wanting to do little more than check in, zone out, and spend hours staring at the glittering Aegean Sea.
For such a tiny place, everything here makes a big impact. There are 15 guest rooms and suites, all of which are resolutely chic and come with lashings of whites, greys and soft blues, streamlined furnishings, queen-size beds, and plenty of living space. Further luxe touches include flat-screen TVs, beautiful bathrooms, and private balconies for all-day chilling.
Sunny days can be spent lazing under thatched umbrellas by the outdoor pool, sipping made-to-order cocktails in the all-white bar, and watching the epic sunsets that have made this island so famous. And just in case you do fancy a post-sunbathing cultural fix, the island’s cosmopolitan capital of Thira, with its museums, galleries, cathedrals and donkey rides, is just three miles away.
How to Get There
One of the best weeks in my life. Good service very much good ppl and Manger. We like to stay here. Hope to visit again soon. The hotel at pygros neer good restaurants and winery. If you want to chill and go out you can do whatever you want
Great hotel location and very accommodating staff!
We visited here to use as a base for our friend's wedding and to enjoy a few days to explore this beautiful island.
The wedding we attended was walking distance from the hotel- would recommend a visit to Santo Winery and Pygros Restaurant.
The staff were extremely helpful whenever we needed a taxi, and even when we wanted to hire a quadbike for the day to travel across the island to Oia, they were happy to organise one for us.
The pool area was very relaxing, and both breakfast and lunch/bar were lovely!
Cannot fault this hotel, the staff and facilities!
Be careful, reviews score on booking.com are all fake. Terrible location. Pool can be for only 4 persons.
If you booked a suite, you will find a room.
Breakfast is very simple: no variety.
Your kids will be charged although we booked a suite.
No taxis accept to come to the hotel easily.
The nearest super market is 1 km far and very hard to reach because the road is inclining.
No sea view. The sea is far 10 km from the hotel. Don’t be tricked.
This is a small place good for relaxing by the pool. The staff were exceptional and extremely accommodating. We did not reserve a car prior to arriving and realized once we arrived at the hotel that we probably needed one. The staff called and made all of the arrangements and had it dropped off for us. Everything here we asked for they went above and beyond to make it happen. This is a smaller property that has a relaxed feel with only a few other guests. Pyrgos is a little away from everything but it was nice to have a quieter environment. The rooms were clean and well kept. Everything from the pool furniture, to the rooms, to the kitchen were all in good condition and clean. The chef took herbs from the garden to make our pizza while we relaxed by the pool. This is a very warm, welcoming, and comfortable place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking to relax in Santorini. 6 stars for the staff and thank you for you patience answering my millions of questions.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this little bijoux hotel. It's located in a quieter area near wineries, so worth renting a car or bike perhaps if you're keen to explore all over the island. The pool area is lovely with lots of comfy loungers - to be honest I would have happily just lazed around on the sunbeds all day. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and elegant greys and blues. It feels very Mediterranean without being naff or overdone.
The real stars are the employees which were friendly, funny, helpful, charming and genuine. From Sophia the chef to Eleni at reception, we were incredibly well looked after. This is the benefit of small hotels, you really get to enjoy the local spirit.
Our group of friends has already agreed to return here.
