How to Get There
Great service. Luggage was well delivered and picked up! Workout area was great! Good Location! Very central located. Concierge was helpful (still didn’t get tickets to the palace tour though...boo!)!
We stayed for 2 nights with my wife and our 4-month baby. We paid €600 per night for a suite. Everything seemed well until we were rejected from the rooftop bar for the only reason we came with a sleepy baby ! There were many seats available including isolated one where we couldn’t bother other guests. and it was only 8pm. We just wanted to have a drink before dinner. The bar tender gave several unjustified answers including that it was forbidden for minors to drink alcohol !! You should be ashamed at Grand Hotel to reject your own clients for the only reason they have kids. Avoid that place if you travel with children.
This is a Centrally located Hotel, two far away from T-Ban nearest station, where we stayed after 2 nightmare nights in Scandic Victoria.
Oddly, this hotel is operated by Scandic, but has nothing to do with it: rooms are spacious, have in room safe, ironing table, minibar, 24-Hour room service, and so on. The only the thing that seems ridiculous is that the breakfast lasts only until to 10:30 am. In EVERY hotel I’ve stayed was until 11 am.
Another thing that could be improved is that all button Bells should be obliged to help guest with their luggage, they hardly do that; that’s something very difficult to understand in this kind of Hotels.
A special mention to Anton @ front desk for his dedication and kindness, as well as his willingness to figure out things!
