Beautiful location, comfortable hotel and rooms, professional and friendly staff.

We stayed last year at your sister hotel Tylney Hall and was most disappointed. The service was dreadful and the staff not so experienced and friendly. It was our Diamond Wedding Anniversary and although it was mentioned prior our visit by our two daughters it was not mentioned or recognised. My family were very disappointed. We wish now we had chosen our second visit at Ashdown Park.

What a beautiful place!

We were blown away with our stay at Ashdown Park. The building itself is beautiful and we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was lovely with a fantastic view and the facilities were very good - we played tennis and putting. The only negative is that food and drink is on the expensive side.

Amazing grounds and building - but internal factors need to be better in my experience; Food, service and room not amazing for a four star hotel.
Spa treatment by far the best thing about the whole trip.

Beautiful but expensive

I stayed here with work and the hotel and grounds are beautiful. There are lounge spaces everywhere and a bar with a snooker room. The bedroom I had was very big and had one of the comfiest beds I have had in a hotel! The room also had a jacuzzi bath. The issue with the room was due to the age of the place, there is no air conditioning so in this unusually hot summer the room was uncomfortable even with the fan they provided. This is a place I would go again, but I think it may be overpriced and not value for money - one thing to watch is the bar: this is the most expensive hotel bars I have been to with gin and tonics being around £15!
