Timeless elegance, gracious service

This is a historic boutique hotel in an upscale area of DC near designer shops, restaurants and the National Mall. The beautiful old building has been impeccably preserved. Rooms are spacious and comfy with classic decor. The restaurant is very good quality. Every staff person we encountered was gracious and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel - nice location

The Henley Park is a cosy, traditional hotel within walking distance of many famous sights and museums. Staff was very friendly and forthcoming. The White House is just a couple of blocks away. Our room was very clean and well maintained. Would book it again any time.

Pleasant staff provided a good welcome. The room was small and not very modern, but everything worked and it was clean. Good number of electrical outlets ( a necessity) and decent shower. Noise was low and this was a pleasant stay. Valet parking is quite expensive so check out local garages first.

Charming hotel. Just don't expect to be able to get any work done

This is a nice, older hotel in a good location. However, the Wi-Fi is beyond bad. My laptop would drop it's connection to the hotel's Wi-Fi about every 40 minutes. Worse, even when it didn't completely drop, the performance was so bad that my corporate VPN dropped even more often.

It's a shame that classic properties like this can't provide modern essentials.

One of the last few vestiges of old DC that still has a classic old school feel. From the look of the drive up entrance and the valet, to the piano bar in the back room, this is the kind of place that you envision Washington power brokers come to hang. Eduardo at the front desk couldn't have been nicer, on what was a very long trip in. Not only did he do everything in his power to make me feel like it was going to be better, he went the extra mile. I've been to places like this in NY where there are plaques outside that boast the comings and goings of the power players of old, but this hotel is too good for that. They let you know you are someplace special by ACTING like this is someplace special. I have to walk about a block and a half to where my actual conference is being held, but I'm OK with it. As long as I can come back to the Henley after all is said and done, I'm perfectly fine.
