How to Get There
We have stayed at this Hyatt During our regular visits to Dewey while our house is under construction. ALWAYS friendliest staff to make your stay the most pleasant. Very nice clean rooms. Convenient location. Love it during wintertime when calm and quiet. Won’t find a better place to stay in the area! Perfect indoor pool for small children.
An excellent place for family and pet friendly! Breakfast was always good and a nice way to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful and doted on our daughter. The location is excellent and a 1 minute walk to the beach. We will go again!
Great dog friendly hotel. Rooms are large and well laid out. The hotel is located around a lot of great restaurants and places to go out. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times and will return soon.
My daughter and I stayed at this Hyatt Place as part of a “stay to play” field hockey tournament, thinking it would be great to sneak beach time in after games. I was surprised to get a room where the “view” was of the indoor pool. I can’t imagine coming to a beach and getting a room where you can’t even see if the sun is out. We had to keep blinds closed and it felt claustrophobic. Be sure to ask about your view at check-in.
Also, be aware it is Dewey Beach. There were numerous twenty-somethings on our floor. They weren’t completely oblivious and weren’t playing loud music, but they did visit each other’s rooms until 2am. There was a lot of hallway conversations and knocking/opening/closing doors until the wee hours of the morning. (I feel old writing this. I do think the young adults were trying to be somewhat respectful and weren’t having loud parties, but just didn’t know how loud the doors slam and how disruptive hallway conversations can be when people are trying to sleep.)
The staff was pleasant when I called to ask when quiet hours but wasn’t very effective. They were also accommodating when we left a night earlier than planned. Location is across the street from the beach and restaurants.
Great place, nice staff; in process of adding on. good parking, safe place. we liked being near beach and could ride bikes to state park and the boardwalk in rehoboth as well. had fun even with cooler weather.
