How to Get There
Consistently a perfect stay with personable genuine feeling staff who go out of their way to make your stay the absolute best. We frequent this hotel as it is puppy friendly and exudes in customer service. You will not find a better place to stay on the Shore period...Jd
The staff are very accommodating. From check in to the conference room set up to catering services, everything was great!! I love hosting scrapbooking weekends there. They are like family now. Highly recommend!
I stayed at the Hyatt Place in February 2019 over President's Day weekend. It's a nice hotel with a great location about a block from the beach. Everything seems fairly new.
Pros: Nice upgraded hotel. Definitely above average with decor, and amenities. Nice pool and fitness room. Easy check in and check out process. Friendly staff.
Cons: When the hotel is full, parking is really tight (and the spaces are smaller for those with big cars). If you're not in early, you might have to park outside in lots and on street (you have to pay for that in Summer).
Neither Pro nor Con: Breakfast was OK. Typical hot breakfast fare served at a number of different hotel chains. Not great, not horrible.
Interesting that they have condo attached to the hotel.
I'd recommend getting a room that doesn't face the Rusty Rudder. Even in the middle of winter, we got a lot of noise from the bar and parking lot from our 2nd floor room. Get a room facing inside.
Overall, it's a nice hotel...just not a 5-star.
We had a nice weekend here and the guys at the front desk - Andrew, Jeffrey and Michael - provided excellent customer service. The pool was great as it was really cold out. Breakfast was nice and had good options. Would def stay again!
I think I have stayed at this Hyatt about 6 times. It is conveniently located to the beach, the outlets and good restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have been undergoing construction forever and the parking can be dicey when it is full however off season it is no problem. The breakfast is convenient and fairly good quality but don't expect anything gourmet. The atmosphere is pleasant. I love the off season rates!
