What We Love
- Daily breakfast is included in the Jetsetter rate
- Lots of space, from rooms to balconies to the sprawling pool deck (with loungers galore)
- Stellar, unobstructed views of the sea
- Stylish, light-filled interiors
- The spa, which offers Turkish hammam treatments
- A laid-back vibe and friendly staff
What To Know
- The hotel isn’t in the center of Santorini’s action
- The hotel isn’t cliffside, so it’s not for those in search of the typical settings that Santorini is known for
- Some of the textiles and ocean murals (in some rooms) feel out of place
- Free WiFi
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site

How to Get There
Quite a contradiction in what we expected.
Long story short, we found that unless you are looking over the cliffs or walking among the white-washed buildings it is rather a dull looking island. So where to stay? We were advised not to stay on this side or that with a view because of the crowds and noise. So we opted to stay five minutes down the road from Fira town proper at the Astro Palace. Since we were not spending an outrageous amount for our room we got the ones with a private pool. Well worth it! The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was included and plenty of everything to eat. We had shrimp delivered to the cabana by our pool for dinner. Friendly staff and great recommendations.
Back to the pool. It really worked out for us. Get up early, eat breakfast and go out exploring then back to our room to cool off and lounge in the heat of the day. It was deep at one end and about 15x8 feet so plenty of room to swim and soak. There are hedges at the back with recliners, a table, and a cabana with a couch My wife was able to get used to topless tanning while still being discrete. Could not have been nicer.
One note is that I was a little worried when we were driving up to the place as it sits alone and the scenery was not much to look at around the hotel. Once we found our way around and realized we could walk up the block and be in town we ended up enjoying the seclusion.
1st went to this hotel in june 2017.
had such a great time , decided to go back .
the 2nd time was even better !!
from check in too leaving 10 days later we had a fantastic time again .
checked in and there was a mix up with the room i booked through a travel agent not the hotel .
asked for the same room as the year before but wasn't requested by the agent .
this was not a problem as the room was available and was given the room at no extra cost even though i offered to pay for the upgrade .
the staff here are probably some of the best staff i have ever experienced staying at a hotel .
dimitri and his team around the pool are on a different level .
nothing is ever too much from day one to the day you leave .
we had a fantastic time again and will be going back for a 3rd time in 2019.
thanks to everyone at the hotel that made our stay so wonderful .
Visited Fira with my family. This is a beautiful hotel. The staff were amazing especially Efi and Demetri the barman. Efi is a professional. She made sure the customers were taken care. She went above and beyond. Thank you Efi for everything you done for us. Thank you Demetri in looking after us and giving us tips on what to do in Santorini. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be returning.
Great location ...near town and transport hubs( tour pick up and bus terminals) but away from noise. Breakfast was great . Many different choices that included Greek specialties as well as more traditional American breakfast foods. visited during cooler weather so didn’t use pools though very inviting
Excellent customer service and friendly staff...beautiful hotel and amenities. Very close to Fira Caldera...local town.
Recommend highly...best time to travel 1st week in Sep....in Oct it was a bit windy....but still alot of sunshine ..hope you enjoy your stay just like we did xx
