How to Get There
We visited as a couple to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The hotel is amazing. from the moment we arrived we relaxed and were made to feel so welcome. The setting is very beautiful, with view all over the bay from the rooms and the pool area and the restaurant.
Our room was lovely- natural, calm and a nice oasis away from the sun. When we arrived we were not put in a room which had a sea-view but we had booked this. It did take 2 nights for us to be changed but the manager was very helpful and apologized and we were put in a new room with a stunning view of the pool and sea so that was fine. We loved the welcome drink and snacks in the room and message 'welcome to your dream'
The pool area was beautiful - a lovely and refreshing pool and relaxing double sun loungers all around the edge. We spend most days here and the staff bring you iced water, mini cocktails and little snacks and bits throughout the day which was a nice touch.
Breakfast was included and it was a la carte and they bring you how ever much you want and all cooked fresh- pancakes, eggs Benedict, anything - very tasty. The restaurant is very modern and luxurious and very nice food. Maybe the menu for dinner could have been slightly bigger and there was not a wide choice but the quality of the food was amazing.
There hotel includes a shuttle service to anywhere you want to go on the island which was handy and they pick you up whenever you want. We mainly went to the local town but a few days we went to a beach club or another restaurant out of town.
Every day they bring you a turn down service, friendly Maria comes round to the room in the evening with water, snacks and a weather forecast (every day was hot sun the whole time) and just a chat which was lovely - on the day of our anniversary we came back from dinner to find champagne and a hand written note in the room from the staff which was so kind.
The main star of the hotel is the staff - everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly. We liked that it is a small hotel as we got to know them and chatted every day with Dminitri the bar man, the girls who work round the pool, the breakfast staff, the drivers, receptionists, even the cleaners; everyone was sooo friendly and helpful, what ever you want they really want to please you. Special thanks to the manager - I loved his welcome tour 'these are my new best friends' and every time we saw him he was chatting to us, advising me about special restaurants and good tips - he was great!
Mykonos we found to be quite an expensive island but this place - for the service, beautiful building, views and everything it included this hotel was very reasonable.
We are so pleased we chose this lovely hotel, one of the best we have ever been to and would love to visit again soon, thank you!!
