How to Get There
We stayed 10 nights here and had a brilliant time. Excellent staff and a relaxing atmosphere means that this hotel is a welcome retreat from the vibrant atmosphere on the Island. We opted for a Deluxe room with outdoor hot tub and ours had a brilliant view of Ornos Bay (room 122).
The breakfast at the hotel is superb, a huge variety is on offer via the buffet alongside countless delicious cooked options.
The free shuttle to Mykonos town is very useful but if you do not want to stick to the times on offer then the hotel will send cars (20 Euro each way) to ensure your evenings run smoothly.
The location is great (Ornos beach is lovely and a 5min walk away) and Mykonos Town is 10 mins drive away.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Every single piece of furnishing is a designer piece.
Location awesome in Ornos, and pretty central for Mykonos, from which you can reach town in less than 5 minutes and the main beaches in a max of 10.
The breakfast service is one of a kind with great poached eggs florentine, and last but not least the dinner gourmet restaurant, a unique proposition.
A must see in Mykonos
Incredible hotel. The rooms are great, and the breakfast when we were able to get up was a great way to start. I thought the location was great too. In fact, I almost feel we didn’t take full advantage of Ornos Beach enough. Just a 3 minute walk.
The staff was incredibly helpful at booking reservations and giving advice, always friendly as well.
The pool is relatively small but never felt crowded. One thing to realize is that you get charged when the hotel provides transport. Probably obvious to most but I never thought about it until my fiancé brought it up half way through our stay. But the transportation was always great and basically the same price as a cab, so I would easily have made the same decisions in terms of transport.
We stayed at the Kensho for two weeks and can honestly say we had a wonderful time. The design of the hotel is simply stunning and every area has something that will catch your eye. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. A big thank you to Julietta (apologies if I’ve spelt her name wrong) who arranged an upgrade for our last few days to a suite with plunge pool 😍
The whole hotel is spotless which is a testament to the hardworking housekeeping staff. We used the gym nearly everyday and although it’s small it has everything u really need to fight the holiday weight, also the personal trainer was very friendly and ready to give us work out tips.
One morning We had a problem with the lock on our door but after a quick call to reception 30 minutes later the problem was fixed. The breakfast is plentiful and everything delicious and the lunch time menu, although fairly limited in choice was also top quality.
The Jewel in the Kensho crown is the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. special mentions go to (I hope I’ve spelt their names correctly) Marilla - the hostess, Panos & Dimitri from the bar, Christos & Joe from the day restaurant, Chris on night reception (so nice to have a big smile to welcome you back to the hotel), the housekeeping team especially Lida who brought us our evening chocolate 😋 and the wonderful Athanasia who made our breakfast time extra special with her Greek lessons x we look forward to one day returning to Kensho and can not recommend this hotel more highly. Thank you to you all
