We’re not usually ones to follow the crowds, but when it comes to Mykonos, we’ll make an exception. Greece’s Cycladic hot spot deserves its popular reputation, thanks to its iconic whitewashed towns, sandy beaches and must-see sunsets. Boasting its own Blue Flag beach just minutes from its front door, Dionysos Boutique Hotel Mykonos is a lovely four-star retreat that takes its name – and its commitment to hospitality – from the Ancient Greek god of revelry.
Kick back island-style in cool white lounges made for cocktail sipping and in comfortable, cream-colored rooms, just moments from Ornos Beach. Back to that Greek hospitality, you’ll enjoy delicious al-fresco breakfasts each morning, too. This is just one of the highlights here, alongside two outdoor pools, an outdoor Jacuzzi and a fully equipped fitness center. And don’t forget the wine – after all, Dionysos was also the Greek god of wine…
Rooms here are bright and welcoming, thanks to elegant white décor and high-end furnishings. Premium Pool View rooms provide 270 square feet of space and lovely views of the pool, while Deluxe Sea View rooms are a bit larger, at 290 square feet, and feature impressive sea views. Both room types can be configured with one king and one single bed, or three single beds.
At just 164 feet from the Blue Flag-awarded Ornos Beach, Dionysos Boutique Hotel Mykonos is perfectly placed for sunbathing. From this sheltered bay, where sailing boats drop anchor at night, you can also catch a taxi-boat shuttle to the south-coast beaches of Paradise and Super Paradise. Regular buses can also connect you to Mykonos Town.
How to Get There
Amazing and friendly staff really made the trip special rooms could be a little bigger but other then that had a wonderful time great location right next to the beach easily accessible good WiFi and pool area
The hotel itself is beautiful, the pool is very nice with lovely furniture and I couldn't fault any of the staff they were all so nice but our room was horrible. It was like we were thrown down in the naughty corner next to one other room away from all the other rooms. The furniture was old and there were so many bugs, our room did not look like any of the other rooms in the pictures.
The pictures make out it's right on the beech but it is not, it's probably a 3 minute walk to breakfast but the walk is quite nice through bamboo and veggie gardens.
If you have never been to IOS before like myself it is very young and party. The hotel is right next door to far away bar which is the biggest party place at ios, although we didn't hear any music coming from there going out for dinner with your family there are young kids everywhere and once we had finished our dinner walking back to the hotel there were a lot of intoxicated kids that could Barely walk, not a scene that I would like my kids to see.
Maybe I should of done more research about ios as I did not realise that it has such a young crowd and maybe the other side of the island is more family friendly.
Recently stayed at this hotel.Very well located on Ornos beach, only a minute walk from the beach. bus and boat station close by, actually no need to rent a car or a bike. The minute you walk in you feel the hospitality of the owners, welcoming you with a drink as they checked you in.
We booked a triple standard room and they upgraded us to the newly build rooms at the new building having a small shared private pool. the rooms were spacious, cleaning was spotless, towels and linen was changed daily. Air conditioning and hairdryer were working well. We asked for beach towels which were given for free.
Staff was definitely a big plus, friendly ready to answer all our questions.
An american breakfast with an extra touch of Greek specialties, was plenty and tasty. We had to check out early in the morning (before breakfast) and to our surprise fresh juice, coffee and cookies were waiting for us before we leave the hotel.
I have been visiting Mykonos for the last 15 years and I believe our stay in this hotel was a real treat. I truly recommend it for couples as well as families
