Overview

The Review

Perched above Agios Ioannis Beach on the west coast of Mykonos, De.light Boutique Hotel is a textbook Greek island retreat. It’s small (there are just 18 whiter-than-white suites), and there are stunning views of the Aegean Sea from every angle. Located three miles from thumping Mykonos town, this laid-back hotel offers a welcome escape from the party hub’s lively bars and sceney clubs. The focus here is on shifting down a few gears and soaking up picture-perfect vistas.

The swim-up bar is manned by a mixologist who shakes up poolside cocktails. At night the water shimmers with fiber optic lights.

All of the light-flooded suites face the sea and feature private verandas on which you can tuck into a classic Greek breakfast (creamy yogurt, local honey, fresh fruit) or sip a sundowner. Bright pops of color break up the white-on-beige color scheme, and a pillow menu adds to the boutique hotel experience.

There are two restaurants on-site, both located poolside. The Pool Restaurant is a top spot for an informal lunch made with local produce, and the Authentic Restaurant serves posh dishes alongside an impressive wine list. Fill up on classic Greek dishes, but remember to save room to savor the dramatic sunsets.

Lucky to have stayed 5 nights in Room 26 Grand suite - worth every penny and then some. Fantastic location away from the craziness in Mykonos town . Everything is accessible- Market across the street, bus stop across the street for Euro 1.80 p/p each way.
Greek an Italian restaurant across the street (both are great) not to mention awesome room
Service and a la carte breakfast included. They also provide to and from transport from airport or ferry port. They open 6 months of the year and just closed for the season Oct 15, 2019. Lovely, helpful and hardworking staff ready to meet and exceed all your expectations.
Thank you Nico, Nicolas, Mata (you are so charming) Rafa, you deserve a trophy for being a constant nonstop hardworking and perfectionist individual - keep it up! Thank
You De.Light for such a great team. Keep up the great work and thank you for making our stay in Mykonos unforgettable. Btw, the best club sandwich I have ever eaten!

What a find - “truly Superb.....”

We chose the De-light to meet up with friends. From the very first welcome (Marta - ????????) up until our departure the whole of our stay and experience was exceptional. From the maids to the restaurant team, the bar staff and the reception team - the service was consistently excellent on every level. The location too was great for us - in a quiet bay (aka Shirley Valentine) but only a short bus ride away from Ornos and Mykonos Town itself - and the bus stop is right outside the hotel! Breakfast was varied (your choice) and voluminous (dependant upon appetite) and again of great presentation and quality. The rooms were amply stocked to a high standard and serviced regularly. The pool area whilst generally busy was spacious and you in no way felt you didn’t have your own space - in the shade or full on sun. All in all it is really is hard to find fault with the De-light. Thank you to all of the Team who made it that way for us!!!! ????????????

Perfect hotel and location

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September, hotel is spotless location is beautiful and the staff couldn’t do more for
You, had to wait half an hour before our room was ready and were given a guided tour of hotel and then sat down with a map and shown all the ins and outs of Mykonos which was a nice touch. Due to the location the sunset is stunning and the Mango cocktails are a must try ???? will definitely be back. Bus stop outside hotel was ideal also.
