Business-friendly sleep next to the city’s largest shopping mall, with an indoor lap pool, splurge-worthy spa and its own casino

The Lowdown

Set in the heart of Argentina’s wine country, this contemporary sleep caters to business travelers (the hotel’s meeting center is one of the country’s largest) but with vacation-friendly amenities, too. The 180 modern guest rooms and suites overlook the city or the mountains and feature standard mod cons like flat screen TVs, work desks and mini bars. A spa with an indoor lap pool and state-of-the-art gym make it easy to stay active during the day, while the onsite casino offers entertainment in the evening. When hunger strikes, upscale Olivas Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine as well as topnotch Argentinian meat. Or, take advantage of 24/7 room service for a meal delivered to your door.

In the Area

Get an overview of Argentina’s famous wines at the tasting room at Vines of Mendoza. Opt for a flight of Malbec and, if you like what you’ve tasted, you can even purchase a piece of land on the vineyard that will be overseen by their agronomist. Spend an afternoon exploring Parque General San Martin, the city’s largest park with 865 acres of scenic walkways, a zoo and the National Science Museum. Adventurers should also opt for a day of rafting in the Andes with Argentina Rafting—the company also offers horseback riding, zip lining and more.

Good Hotel great staff
Reviewed 4 hours ago

Stayed here for three nights and used it as a base for going on tours of the Mendoza area, the Bodegas and a trip to the Andes and Chilean border. Although a little way out from the centre taxis are reasonably priced and are usually available straight away outside the hotel, there are also taxis that serve the shopping centre opposite.
The shopping centre also makes a good place to eat with several restaurants from fast food to Sushi if you don’t want to eat in the hotel, we did also had a meal in the hotel that was very good and again very reasonably priced food and Malbec, if we had stayed another night would have probably eaten there again. The staff in the restaurant were excellent in fact all the staff we encountered during our stay were extremely helpful. The hotel also has a good pool and the hotel has a Casino that is part of the complex and accessible from the hotel. Room was clean and to a high standard if staying in Mendoza and not needing to be in the centre would stay there again.

Very Good

Great hotel and service! Excellent location in front of a shopping mall and next to the freeway proving easy and fast access to, and from, the city center and bodegas. Good breakfast and excellent service from staff, especially in their restaurant for lunch and dinner! As to the rooms, they are accoarding to a 4/5 star hotel, but the only downside is that a door separates you from your neighbours which means you get disturbed if they are loud, which happened to us almost every day, especially if the hotel is accommodating local soccer teams, (which tend to be extra noisy in our experience ) which is quite normal. Al together, expectations were met taking into account the price of a room, and we had a nice time.

Beautiful property with a very efficient and staff well oriented into customer service. The concierge Daniel is very knowledgeable and his recommendations are very assertive, if you stay here you must pay him a visit. The rooms are spacious and the besa are very comfortable. Ok The property is about 3 miles from downtown but it has a large shopping mall right across from the hotel. It has a rental car company in the lobby.

I expected more from Intercontinental

I had higher expectations from the property. Guest service is spotty at best. I had several valid complaints which were brought to managements attention whom provided a satisfactory resolution. The hotel is located close to the vineyards and Daniel the concierge, first class. The massage at the spa was at best average. The hotel facilities were well maintained.

Worst internet hotel Ever!

I trully like the intercontinental Hotels in general. But this time as many other times before had several inconviniences with a very poor internet wifi service within the hotel. No wifi signal what so ever or super slow conection. 1 minute to load a single picture? Come on! Its a 5 stars Hotel!. Its a big problem for me cause I need to be online for study and work and cant do it here.
