Business-friendly sleep next to the city’s largest shopping mall, with an indoor lap pool, splurge-worthy spa and its own casino

The Lowdown

Set in the heart of Argentina’s wine country, this contemporary sleep caters to business travelers (the hotel’s meeting center is one of the country’s largest) but with vacation-friendly amenities, too. The 180 modern guest rooms and suites overlook the city or the mountains and feature standard mod cons like flat screen TVs, work desks and mini bars. A spa with an indoor lap pool and state-of-the-art gym make it easy to stay active during the day, while the onsite casino offers entertainment in the evening. When hunger strikes, upscale Olivas Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine as well as topnotch Argentinian meat. Or, take advantage of 24/7 room service for a meal delivered to your door.

In the Area

Get an overview of Argentina’s famous wines at the tasting room at Vines of Mendoza. Opt for a flight of Malbec and, if you like what you’ve tasted, you can even purchase a piece of land on the vineyard that will be overseen by their agronomist. Spend an afternoon exploring Parque General San Martin, the city’s largest park with 865 acres of scenic walkways, a zoo and the National Science Museum. Adventurers should also opt for a day of rafting in the Andes with Argentina Rafting—the company also offers horseback riding, zip lining and more.

Lacked originality

Check in and out was done well. The room and the bathroom were goog in size. We wished there would be a light at the writing desk. The beds were good. Breakfast was good but when we asked slices tomatoes the answer was do not have any and that there is tomatoe salsa. We are used to put slices tomatoe on top of our bread. In the lift there was a sign in which was a text that you are not allowed to walk through the lobby in slippers. Next morning we saw people having flip-flops at the breakfast room, is that allowed?

Great hotel

Very modern and beautiful hotel with the Intercontinental touch. The rooms are fabulous with a great bath with separate wc, shower and bath. Nice amenities. The included breakfast is fantastic. Nice attention at the terrace bar and at the reception desk.
Good prices for wine and drinks.

Great for a one-night stopover at Mendoza City

We booked a room to spend our first night in Mendoza, as it was close to both airport and downtown area. The bad point is that we had to pay for the parking of our rented car as an extra -which is a small amount of money but should be included in their room service fee.
The room was comfy, but lacked a electric kettle and in room coffee, tea.
The dining area on the ground floor was great, it had gluten free options. Pool area was good, and breakfast included Gluten free dishes.
Overall, the service and warmth of staff was very good.
Check in is 3 PM so take it into account if you arrive early. We left our luggage on hold until we took the room.
