Business-friendly sleep next to the city’s largest shopping mall, with an indoor lap pool, splurge-worthy spa and its own casino

The Lowdown

Set in the heart of Argentina’s wine country, this contemporary sleep caters to business travelers (the hotel’s meeting center is one of the country’s largest) but with vacation-friendly amenities, too. The 180 modern guest rooms and suites overlook the city or the mountains and feature standard mod cons like flat screen TVs, work desks and mini bars. A spa with an indoor lap pool and state-of-the-art gym make it easy to stay active during the day, while the onsite casino offers entertainment in the evening. When hunger strikes, upscale Olivas Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine as well as topnotch Argentinian meat. Or, take advantage of 24/7 room service for a meal delivered to your door.

In the Area

Get an overview of Argentina’s famous wines at the tasting room at Vines of Mendoza. Opt for a flight of Malbec and, if you like what you’ve tasted, you can even purchase a piece of land on the vineyard that will be overseen by their agronomist. Spend an afternoon exploring Parque General San Martin, the city’s largest park with 865 acres of scenic walkways, a zoo and the National Science Museum. Adventurers should also opt for a day of rafting in the Andes with Argentina Rafting—the company also offers horseback riding, zip lining and more.

Complete Hotel Experience but not Perfect
Reviewed 1 week ago

The hotel is quite good. There is a fitness room with a few machines, a relatively large indoor pool and hot tub, a casino, a restaurant of variable quality and a comfortable conference facility. The breakfast was good, not great. There are fresh juices, good coffee and the usual bacon, eggs etc. Cheeses were moderate quality. Plenary of fruits, breads and pastries. The La Barrica bar/restaurant served a delicious cheeseburger and a tasteless gnocchi. I did not try the other restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was no in-room coffee. The pool was too warm for my taste but large enough for a good swim. The spa attendants were always helpful. The concierge was very good. The conference center worked well for our mid-sized meeting. Nice catered party as well. Ample taxis as needed. ATM across the street in the Mendoza Mall.

But need a car to get to it from downtown, next to a shopping mall, casino in it which doesn't make it nicer. Rooms and bed are acceptable as well the bathroom.
Checkout was a nightmare, it took for ever.

All what you expect

It is not a luxury hotel but it has all what is needed. Large rooms and bathrooms (separate shower, jacuzzi), good service, professional staff, superior breakfast with all what you want for any type of breakfast. It is spacious with a huge hall. Spa is well equipped with steam room and sauna. Swimming pool is not so big but surrounded by glass windows. Conference rooms were of perfect standard. No possible complaints.

Pleasent stay

Good hotel with good breakfast buffet, very good beds and outstanding shower (best I have had among many HGotels)
Many anoying details, doorlocks didn't work; ineficient personal at breakfast buffet (ordered fried eggs to cook, who referred me to the table personnel to whom I had to order......-and by the way was inexistent. Disturbing inefficiency.Check out procedure takes between 10 to 15 minutes.....Room was cleaned after noon time and had to request fresh towels, shower gel, shampoo etc. as cleaning personnel didn't leave any......

A review by an American

The hotel is "adequate" by American Standards. The rooms are clean and relatively contemporary but a bit worn with stained fabrics. The people made the experience. Everyone was truly welcoming and lovely. THE INTERNET WAS TERRIBLE. You were always falling off of it. Very frustrating and truly the only real negative. The Bell Boy was amazing, high energy, helpful and fun. The concierge was a MUST. He seemed to know where to go and what to do, we had 2 great outings scheduled by Daniel. Hats off to him!! The Spa needs some work, and the exercise room is definitely in need of some love. Nice to have a mall across the street. All in all, we had a nice time!!
