How to Get There
Great location, close to the center of Cusco; the hotel itself is charming with its colonial construction and art works displayed throughout the building. The rooms are modern and very comfortable, the staff is very helpful and attentive to all guests needs. A wonderful experience.
Beautiful, and charming boutique hotel 2 blocks away from the Central Square. Excellent food. Very helpful and efficient staff. Museum quality antiques. Had an issue with altitude sickness, and staff provided additional oxygen to the room, which helped dramatically.
What a great find. It’s proximate to everything and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Loved our room!!! Everyone was very friendly (especially Gonzalo) and really wanted to make our stay special. It was my son’s first night after 3 months of staying in hostels and he didn’t want to leave the room. The hotel is really beautiful and well priced.
It’s a find! Thank you.
First let me say, I would stay here again. Great location and lovely hotel. The food was wonderful and the service impeccable. The room decor is what is a bit off. We stayed in a superior king with the in room oxygen (which is wonderful). The single pink Venetian plastered wall, with the very traditional bed, looked odd. And the windows were minimal so the room was quite dark. The bed was very comfortable so sleeping was no problem, and the room itself was well sized. The real amazing feature of this room was the huge, black marble bathroom. This was the most amazing bathroom I have stayed in. Black marble walls and floor and vanity. Double sinks, center huge tub, large walk in shower and separate toilet room with frosted glass doors made you wonder if you were in Wonderland. It was beautiful and so modern!
In 2 words The Best. Stayed for a total of 3 nights (2 & 1).
This converted 16th century monastery, is now a hotel museum. Yes, they have small groups visiting the hotel museum to view the 16th century artefacts, in the public areas of the hotel.
As a boutique hotel the reception area is pleasant and very welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were all very welcoming. The 16th century furniture, fittings and architecture was very well co-ordinated.
We were in a suite and in a word WOW. One could not have asked for a better room, there were to many excellent things about the room to list here.
Breakfast was great, buffet and to order, food and staff made for a great start to the day.
On our return journey from Machu Picchu we stayed another night. After we left the hotel the first time, my partner discovered that she had lost some of her jewellery, which had a lot of sentimental value. On our return stay, we asked if by any chance the small pouch was found in the room safe. After a short wait, room service came with the lost pouch. That was a fantastic relief to us. Such honesty and care is to be admired and our compliments to Aranwa.
