How to Get There
My husband and I just came back from a few days at Casa Chameleon! We absolutely loved it and hope to return very soon! The rooms were private with the most gorgeous views! We loved having our own private pool to use during the day! The food was so delicious in the restaurant on property!
The staff were very attentive to all of our needs always calling us by our first name!
LOVE! LOVE! LOVED IT!!!!
Casa Chameleon holds a special place in my heart, as the staff are excellent and the quality of amenities are superb. A special shout out to José and Franklin as they provided us with a memorable experience, and made us feel like we were at home. The food was excellent, and it is the most beautiful place to watch a sunset. Thank you to all staff members that contribute to making Casa Chameleon a beautiful place to visit. I plan to return in the future and would recommend this place a million times.
Its a luxury hotel in a very special location! Very detail oriented
Great service, amazing views and excellent food!
Perfect balance between nature and hospitality.
Nothe that it is an adults only hotel
Visited with my wife (sans kids) and some friends and family for a wedding. Really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or relaxing setting to spend a week. We basically focused on the eat, drink, sleep plan and casa chameleon didn’t disappoint in those departments.
For a different kind of trip or travelers, it might have felt a little too perfect (the town of las Catalinas down the hill is like a weird Disneyland approximation of a Costa Rican sea side town)-but for us, on this trip, it was worth it.
Staff, food, pools, views, service... just wow.
We had an amazing trip to Casa Chameleon. We traveled with other couples and everyone loved the hotel!
Service and Staff: Every single Casa Chameleon employee who we encountered was friendly and helpful. They all went out of their way to help us with any requests for recommendations or needs for our room. We had excellent communication with the concierge staff before we arrived and we loved to meet them once we arrived in person. Paola, Tony, Eduardo (and the one other woman at the concierge desk whose name I can’t recall..so sorry!) all made great recommendations and booked everything for us immediately.
We all loved Jose at the valet - he drove us back and forth in the golf cart to Las Catalinas, lugged our bags around, and even took us to see a family of monkeys in the trees next to the resort and helped us take photos using his binoculars. He really made our trip special! All the servers in the restaurant were great. Our whole group is going to miss Franklin the most! We kept him busy at the pool with our drink orders and he was hustling all day. He truly made it possible for us to relax and unwind while he did all the work, and he was really one of the nicest and most gracious people we met all week!
Rooms: Rooms are beautifully decorated. Gorgeous views of the ocean from the pool deck. We stayed in room 22 which appeared to be the lowest room on the sunset side of the hotel. 95 steps Down and 95 back up. We are in pretty good shape and these stairs were tough. Be sure to discuss room options with them if you have any physical limitations as many are accessible by only stairs.
Restaurant: Food and drinks were great. Scenery was perfect.
Bottom line is Just Book It! Ask for the excursion and local restaurant recs when you get there. We did the surfing lesson with Mojo Surf and the sunset sailing with Serendipity- both booked through the concierge and both were priced well and highlights of our week. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back soon!
