Lovely hotel

Just stayed for 12 nights at this lovely hotel. We had a great time. Hotel is located perfectly on a great beach on the west coast within easy reach of many top restaurants. One of the best lone star is a couple of hundred yards walk along the beach. Rooms are great as is the swimming pool. Highlight is the fantastic staff, without exception all so friendly happy and helpful. Definitely another visit coming😎

Visit to Barbados

We have stayed in Fairmont Royal PavilionHotel for seven nights in October-November 2018 and would like to say that we enjoyed our stay very much. That was our first stay with the Hotel, previously we always stayed with Sandy Beach Hotel. It goes without saying that it is difficult to compare these two hotels as the difference in price you pay for the room is dramatic as well as in the quality of service and facilities. But buck for buck, I think Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel is a better choice. It is situated on a great beach, very close to the sea and the food in the main restaurant is on a par with the food served in much more expensive Sandy Beach Hotel. Service is definitely better in the Sandy lane Hotel, but all the staff in Fairmont Royal Pavilion is also very very good, helpful and responsive. Rooms have been refurbished a year ago and at the moment they are quite good. It is hard to say how good they will look in 3-4 years as the refurbishment was done on a cheap side and few things (like bathroom tiles) already show poor quality. Nevertheless we liked the hotel and we are pretty sure that this hotel is a good value for money, highly recommended.

When you go to a family function and you spot your favorite cousin

Let me tell you about my stay at the royal pavilion and how i more than likely will never stay anywhere but there in barbados !
I come to Barbados twice for year for a much needed vacation . Every year everyone is really sincerely nice . However ,
to kick off my 35th birthday it felt more like going to a family function and you spot your favorite cousin and immediately are in a better mood !
Peter from Butler service is always sooooo happy ! Warm greeting by staff before I could even check in .
Housekeeping ladies are always on point with the room and they are great . ROBERTAAA at the Taborus bar makes theeeee best drinks in the whole wide WORLD! I was even surprised on the beach with a birthday cake and champagne .
Room was clean ; service was great . Staff are always amazing and nice. It doesn’t feel like they are being nice as part of their job but that is just how they are . It doesn’t feel like i’m in a hotel but hanging out with family for a few days.
This hotel is always my go to vacation spot . Love it

Stayed in a suite at the hotel for 8 nights. The newly refurbished suite was beautiful and having its own patio area and being on the beach was wonderful. The added benefits of the suite made the holiday feel very luxurious - Butler service, complimentary afternoon tea and evening canopies. Dawn was very helpful and arranged restaurant bookings, trips and car hire for us so we could truly relax on our holiday.

The location of the hotel on the beach is excellent. The beach is stunning and cleaned everyday by the hotel. Lots of water sports available too. The breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice. We ate in the hotel restaurant several times too and the food was very good and for Barbados it was comparatively reasonable.

The absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are all incredible, very friendly, extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble - they really make you feel like they want you to have a wonderful holiday. Can honestly say we’ve never been treated so well in a hotel before.

Don’t often write reviews but really felt compelled to on this occasion. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to return soon.

If you want to be broke and hungry stay here.

I was so excited to stay at the fairmont when I booked my vacation. It had such great reviews and was rated #1 hotel in Barbados on Trip Advisor. HOWEVER that was a lie, the service, and the food were very below average. Considering every meal is about $50 Canadian I expected more. And by "meal" I mean $50 would buy you a peice of unfresh fish. The staff were sassy and I even after I let them know that I didn’t like my meal- the tuna tasted very unfresh, and had a strange smell. All they did was take it away and say that they’ll let the chef know without any remedy. Additionally the waitress tried to banter with me about the fish.

The hotel itself isn’t bad, the beach is very dirty though. For the value, I would recommend staying somewhere else next time, I heard Sandals isn’t bad.
