The Beach at Bude is perfect the room was amazingly very spacious lovely bed and shower
It didn’t have a sea view but such a great room didn’t matter and lovely terrace to sit out on with the most beautiful view of the beach ( and good selection of Gins)
The staff are all friendly particularly the receptionist who was a star !
The food was extremely good very tasty and imaginative cooking and well priced
We had a Chianti Classico which was very good no French red on wine list a good claret would have been nice
We went on the actual day of our wedding anniversary and was perfect choice
Will definitely be back !

Wonderful stay

We stayed at The Beach this week for 4 nights. We had a Juliet balcony with a view of the sea and our 13year old had a pull out bed in our room. There was plenty of space. It was very clean, great decor and very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the afternoons reading with lovely views to enjoy. We ate most nights at the restaurant and the food was superb. The breakfast was equally good with plenty of choice. I really enjoyed the Garden breakfast, roasted sweet potato, mushroom, tomatoes, wilted chard and poached egg with tomato salsa. The Sainsburys at the back of the hotel was useful. We used the hotel as a base to visit Tintagel and Clovelly as well as enjoying walking along the cliffs and beach in Bude and wandering along the canal. We didn't use the sea pool but it's a short walk from the hotel and looked great.

Excellent Hotel well worth the price

We stayed here last week for 4 nights, after booking it very late. The only room available for our dates was The Suite, which was really a family room, with 2 bedrooms, a large lounge, and well equipped bathroom. The only problems we found was that the bedrooms were upstairs, but with no en-suite, a night time visit to the bathroom involved stairs. The patio, off the lounge overlooked Sainsburys car park, and the blank white wall could do with a mural, or picture painting on it.
The staff were all delightful, from the cleaning ladies to the manager, and nothing was too much trouble for them to sort out (Parking Space, Harder pillows etc) We had pre- booked our dinner table each night, in the very good restaurant, and it was a good job we did, as it was very busy. Only to be expected as the food was superb.
We would thoroughly recommend this hotel, and really enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely stay at a great location

Stayed here for a weekend in June and was not disappointed.

A great location is made even better by the helpful staff, lovely food and comfortable beds.

Pre-booked the three course meal for Saturday evening and was delighted by the quality of the food, the steak was the best I’ve had in ages!

Our room didn’t face the beach but was lovely, plenty of room, a great shower (and bath) and the bed was very comfortable.

Parking can be an issue but there are spaces at the back, so try to phone and book one for your stay.
