Charming Country Inn with Comfortable Accommodations and Fine Food
Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed one night at the Copper Beech Inn in the Carriage House. The room was lovely and the four-poster bed was comfortable. Another chair in the room would have been nice. The bathroom was very large and modern, and stocked with quality products as well as terry cloth bathrobes, slippers, etc. The following morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast (comes with the room); guests choose from a menu of about ten options--all sound very good. We had the Eggs Benedict, which was excellent. The dinner the night before was also very good, but we had to ask for a table change because one part of the dining area was quite noisy. The prices were a bit steep, as is the room cost. But the Copper Beech Inn is a special experience, and we were glad we had stayed there.

A Lovely New England Inn with a Great Breakfast

We spent three nights at this inn and has a lovely time. My husband is visually impaired and has a guide dog...they were courteous and helpful. Our room was well appointed with antique furniture to match the feel of the inn. The breakfast was Delilah...especially the bacon. We had a nice time visiting local vineyards and enjoying down time at the inn in the evening. A great place for looking at fall foliage too!

A Wonderful Inn with great service

My wife and I went to celebrate her birthday; a two night stay. We were greeted warmly and Sarah took time to explain, breakfast and dinner package. We went to our room in the Comstock House just behind the main inn. Room 322 was beautiful, decor was warm, and the bathroom was spacious with a soaking tub and walk in shower. The heating was perfect. We stayed two nights and had breakfast and dinner there. The first evening our waiter Samuel was outstanding, the food selection explained and the bread, food and dessert were fantastic. The service rendered by Samuel was exceptional. The next morning for breakfast we were greeted by our server, Eddie. Once again outstanding and friendly service. The breakfast choices were great and once again the food was prepared perfect. We enjoyed a day in Essex at the recommendation of Sarah. Came back for dinner once in the evening and were served wonderfully prepared dishes. The final morning was special; first for another great breakfast, then to meet Frank Perrotti the owner. He along with his entire staff made this a very special birthday weekend. I highly recommend you visit this charming place.

Lovely and comfortable

We went to the Oak Room for an easy dinner. Where once this restaurant was very fancy, it now has both the formal dining room and the Oak room that is casual and comfortable. Music on Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30.

We love this place!

Dining experience has been great. Good food, drinks and service. The rooms are very private, quiet and clean. My husband and I have stayed here multiple times and don't have a bad word to say. Gardens are beautiful in the summer and lounge is cozy in the winter. I highly recomend this place!
