Relaxed Class

We have had dinner here on several occasions - Saturday night gathering, New Year's Eve, after theater. Have never been disappointed. Good food, attentive service without hovering, classy but relaxed ambiance. We'll dine here again.

This place is a joke

There is nothing high end or nice about this inn, it’s dirty, poorly kept and the management and staff are rude and passive aggressive. They actually added a tip charge to my room (without my knowledge) because we didn’t tip the waiter one of the days we had their complementary breakfast that was suppose to be included with the room. We paid $1400 to stay at this dump for 4 nights and they had the nerve to ad charges for something that’s suppose to be included. I found it of poor taste because the following day we tipped the waiter double to cover for the day we didn’t have cash, yet they had the liberty to add extra charges to the tab. Don’t waste your money at this place. Poorly ran and they do not appreciate the business that they do get. I felt like they thought they were doing me a favor by allowing me to stay there, not the other way around. The pictures on the website look zero like the rooms(wall paper peeling off the walls, hair in the shower, stained carpet and furniture in the rooms, insanely loud party downstairs).I really couldn’t wait to get out of there and personally feel the management would benefit from receiving a few business and customer service trainings. If we hadn’t paid so much for the this place I would have left the first night and stayed down the street at the quality inn.

We stayed at the Copper Beech Inn Sept. 2nd and had a lovely room in the main house. We got in early and decided to have Sunday brunch which was excellent. The staff was helpful and very nice. The next morning after breakfast we were walking around the grounds and got tracked down only to be informed breakfast came with our room and were refunded our money. The entire staff was kind and the local area beautiful. I would definitely recommend the Copper Beech Inn for a quiet getaway or a great meal.

“Wow what happened”

The Copper Beech Inn has been one of our favorite places to stay for the past 5 years till our last couple visits. We love the rooms, food and the wine but for the past couple times the quality of product has dropped very fast. We noticed the rooms have not been kept up they are very run down, mold on walls, smell of mildew, Internet not working and dust all over the curtains. We asked to be moved and Sarah was very accommodating and helped us out.

At dinner we had a very tuff time getting wine because they were out of 4 wines we selected. I asked for the wine guy to help then I was told he has moved on, so I asked for the manager and was told they don’t have one! How can you run a restaurant without a manager!! We liked the selections the other wine guy (tall and had curly hair) gave us. He was very knowledgeable and always had something new and great to try. Food and wine are one of the best parts of The Copper Beech Inn. I mean come on that’s what they are known for. Our meal was great as usual but the details of high end dining is missing. They have lost the touch all around!
Our table wasn’t the only one feeling it. We ended up talking to the table by us and they told us they have been waiting a long time for drinks. It was completely obvious they were short staffed.
After our terrible experience that night we will no longer be staying The Copper Beech Inn. What a shame it was such a great place.

A little disappointed

Disappointed with the inn. It lacked that personal warm and friendly touch that we've experienced at other B&Bs. Check-in process was a waitress handing us the keys to the room and that was it. At other places, we've gotten tours of the house, explanation of what the inn had to offer, someone taking us to the room, fresh baked snacks in the afternoon, etc. This inn had none of that. The inn is open to the public for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so this place feels more like a hotel than a B&B.

Big room (room 301)
Big Bathroom
Jacuzzi tub

Wifi doesn't work well
Small TV
Poor Room Privacy - There's a separate outside room entrance but the curtains are sheer so there is no privacyH
Happy hour was not great (not much of a selection)
