This Hotel is a Disaster! Don't Stay Here
John W

This hotel is way overrated! The rooms are old (tub shower with shower curtain; air conditioner is a loud, three foot square, portable unit attached to the wall; the bathroom hardware wabbles; I touched the wall phone next to the toilet and it fell off on the floor). I put out the "service" sign on the door at 8:30 AM two days in a row and the room was still not cleaned at 3:00 PM. I had to talk to the housekeeper to get the room cleaned.
I was still willing to let all of this go, until what happened tonight. I agreed to pay $20 per night for parking in the hotel garage. I came back from dinner in town and there was no parking in the garage. Turns out they oversell the parking garage! They told me to find a place on the street. In other words this was my problem, not theirs. Good luck finding parking on the street at night.
My wife and I are staying here now (9/4-9/8). PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!

Fabulous hotel in wonderful location

The Hotel Telluride was an indulgence on our driving/hiking trip through southwest Colorado. We often economized, but decided to treat ourselves halfway through the trip. This place was NOT a disappointment!
It's beautiful and comfortable hotel with a cozy lobby where you can linger by the fire, or in our case, cool off with a glass of citrus-infused water. In particular, we wanted to acknowledge the kindness and excellent service from Kelsey, the lovely young woman at reception. She went above and beyond to help us find wonderful places to eat and hike. All in all, an oasis in a beautiful town.

Pet friendly & charming

We booked a last minute family trip to Telluride and wanted to bring our small dog. This hotel had a vacancy and good reviews, so we decided to try it out. It is a quirky, adorable place. The lobby has a huge fireplace surrounded by several gigantic couches and chairs, great spot on a rainy afternoon. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower had incredible hot water.

The hotel was incredibly pet friendly and our dog was treated like a queen.

It’s a short walk to downtown and the gondola, about 5 minutes. Would definitely stay again.
