How to Get There
Wonderful hotel. Indoor/outdoor pool. Clean. Comfortable. Coffee bar and Restaurant right in the hotel. Great for small conference. Nice restaurant on 2nd floor just off conference rooms. Nice for quick lunch with co-workers.
My girlfriend and I were visiting for the weekend to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. I shared this bit of info with Brent when he emailed me to see if he could do anything to make our upcoming stay special. He took care of us with a room upgrade and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. Anytime I'm in Denver in the future, I'll be sure to stay here thanks to this amazing experience.
I stayed at the property for business. The morning of my meeting, my door malfunctioned and I was trapped in the room for more than 45 minutes. Ultimately, it took a sledge hammer and a saw to extricate me from the hotel room. When I was finally freed, I was met by a hotel employee who apologized for my experience and told me that 30,000 points would be deposited to my rewards account or enough points for 3-4 nights at most Westin properties. I was in a hurry to get to my meeting and left. At checkout the next day I was told that one night of my stay in Denver would be comped instead of the 3-4 nights promised. When I questioned why I would accept a single night's stay in lieu of 3-4 nights in the future, I was told that the 30,000 points was only good for one night's stay. I had a plane to catch so I left. When I got home, I got in touch with the property's manager and explained the situation. Total and complete silence followed. Things go wrong, doors apparently malfunction, but don't lie your patrons. There is absolutely no excuse for such poor customer service.
