The hotel staff was very professional, helpful and polite. The hotel is in a great location as it's near many restaurants/bars/ 16th street mall, Coors field and has great views of the Rockies from the pool. The bar is very bland and should be upgraded. Also, they had multiple what appeared to be corporate events going on which they catered too as in closing pool on a very hot day to non invites, along with the lounge area near the bar. I understand why they do this but as an individual family we paid a very high price for the room and should have the same amenities open to us during the entire stay as well. The rates are high in my opinion as your paying for location/views. I would stay here again if rates dropped but overall had a nice experience stating here

I was in Denver for a week on business and reserved a room at the Westin for my final night (June 28, 2018) as I was advised that with the extra people in the city for sporting events it may be difficult to get to the airport for my flight. Upon arrival the reservation could not be located and due to a sporting event there were no rooms. I waited in the lobby and around 9 pm there was a cancellation. The agent would not honor the reservation rate and stated that because of the sporting event the price had been raised to $500 for one night. When I mentioned price gouging, I was informed by the agent that price gouging is an acceptable practice in Denver. There was also a good credit included, however it wasn’t applied I have reached out to the hotel to adjust the rate and no adjustments were made. I stayed 4 nights at a comparable hotel downtown (Warwick) and paid almost the same amount for this one night stay. There was only one other hotel room in the entire city (Days Inn) on this night and the rate for 1 night at that hotel was over $700. Price gouging may be legal but it’s not judicious and it’s not good customer service.

Worst Stay at a Westin in all our lives

I would NEVER recommend any one staying at this Westin ever it’s filthy & management needs just as much improvement as house keeping. The only manager who took any time to try and do something was Ramond the other managers never to be seen of or heard from. Vitale Fo did send me an email with information I was already aware of but stated he didn’t have a contact number for me when Liam specifically asked me for my number & wrote it down for the manager who never bothered to reach out to us about all the current issues. I've never been so appalled & disgusted by specifically hotel management staff & the lack of standards for a Westin Hotel in all my life.
Upon arrival car left with Valet $42.00 per night to park. We never knew there was a charge to park my car if staying for 2 nights in the Hotel.
Checked in up to room AC barely working & making an awful rattling noise the room smelled god awful didn’t get a chance to call manager due to dinner reservations so I called upon returning back to the horrible smelling room & when we went to get into bed brown stains of some sort on my inside sheets and guests comforter cover had similar looking brown stain on her bed. I tried to sleep on top of the bed in my clothes due to so freaked out by brown stains on sheets of course we were up all night & got ZERO sleep along with the AC rattling noise which made it impossible to sleep. We should’ve just changed rooms but we were both too tired to deal with packing up and moving at this point we were just trying to get an hours rest. So basically for my $200 room after my $50 credit from the night manager it cost us $150.00 to get ZERO sleep night one.

Next morning go down to speak to day manager (VF) I leave my cell phone number with Liam at the front desk the manager is conveniently in a meeting never heard a word from him all day except the email communication which I already had the information from the night manager Ramond who by far was the only manager that should be still employed at this hotel in our opinions he was the only one who actually cared.

So here’s the kicker. To try & smooth things over for our horrible 1st night visit with no sleep. We are given an upgrade to a business Mountain View room exactly like the room we had except had a view of the mountains.

Well here is where it gets ugly. We’ve now wasted 8 hours of NO SLEEP on top of 2 hrs plus to get so upset and angry we just have to get out of this hotel cause nothing is being done to fix the problem. Brand new upgraded room here’s what we are welcomed to find in this hotel. There’s hair what looks like (pubic hair) in my bed filthy gross, glass mirror had little kids hand prints on it, drinking glasses by ice bucket were so filthy I don’t know anyone who would drink out of them not to mention the 2 glasses in bathroom on counter were just as disgusting, tooth paste on wall in bathroom in 2 spots, oh and when we went to open the safe it was pleasantly filled with two what looked liked gum balls, cup of 3/4 drank of water, a dirty straw & napkin. How impressive of a brand new upgrade for a room.
At least the sheets weren’t brown in this room guess that was the only plus.

I took lovely pictures of the second room so everyone can see what filth is considered an upgrade.

So to blow off some steam we decide let’s head to the pool cool down & relax hopefully make up for the sleep we didn’t get the 1st night. Get to the pool not one lawn chair to lay in they are all reserved with people who are current in the pool & aren’t even using the chairs to lay in. Then we ask for 2 cups filled with ice to chew on & the bar tender ask us what for? Then only gave us one cup of ice chips to share are you kidding me? We can’t get a chair to lay in so while we stand & wait roughly 37 minutes 1 nice lady gives us her chair since she is leaving. After 42 minutes of no lawn chair another lady leaves & I took the other chair.
I have told all my friends think long & hard before ever staying at the Westin on Lawrence St in Denver & possibly any other Westin’s apparently the standards have gone into the toilet and us as consumers should be okay with lower standards. Just so sad the Westin was my go to place to stay when I needed a hotel not anymore.

We stayed at the Westin for a conference. The location was absolutely perfect! Service at the hotel was great, but the best part was the Palms restaurant. The food was incredible, but the service was top notch. Chad at the bar was wonderful! We will be back!

We were 4 friends in Denver for several concerts. Beginning with the valet staff, the super friendly bartender at the pool and the wonderful lady at checkout....everyone was so professional and helpful. We ordered lunch to be delivered to the pool one day and what a great idea! We didn't lose our spot at the pool and everything was fresh and tasty. It was a short walk to Coors Field and a great selection of bars and restaurants. We found the rooms to be very comfortable...those pillows!!!! The only minor complaints we had were ; we wished there was more shade at the pool...and housekeeping could have been more timely...but seriously, we loved it and would stay there again.
