Location makes Mountain Thunder your choice

Mountain Thunder is excellent for skiing and for visiting the down town. Great condo style living that is very close to the gondola and 2 blocks from down town. No driving - have fun. Big ski lockers for multiple skis. We will be back.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful location!! This is great value for your money. The hotel is slightly further away from Main Street but the hotel offers a on call shuttle service. We stayed in a king bed condo which was absolutely great value for your money. It had a big kitchen, big living room, spacious bathroom, balcony, king size bed, fire place. Everything you need for a get away. Right outSide the condo is a pool and hot tub. Would def stay here again.

Lovely Little Weekend Getaway!

We came up to Breck for a girl's weekend. This was a great spacious place to stay. Very relaxing. Lots of room to lounge about and play games and enjoy! The kitchen was fantastic. The beds were super comfortable.
We did enjoy the hot tub as well. It was a nice touch and not a far walk from the front door. Also this place is very close (walking distance) to Main Street.
There is a way to ski back in to this area, however we did not ski this weekend.
We really liked it alot!

We keep coming back!

We have tried many places in Breck but we keep going back to Mountain Thunder! GM Dustin Stokes went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. I travel a lot for work and I have never had such great hospitality than I had this trip at Mountain Thunder. Clean property, great location, and a great staff! See you again soon!

It Still Has It. .. Mostly .... 🤔🤔🤔. ..!

Our 10th visit to Mountain Thunder Lodge and a our 4th review. 12 days this time. It is still very much the same place as we first stayed in 2007. And that is both good and bad. Good, the spacious, comfortable accommodations, the excellent desk service, shuttle on demand, the proximity to the gondola, ski in the back door if you wish, close but not too close to town. Not so good the accommodations are definitely getting tired in some regards (viz: the dated kitchens) and needing a makeover but the big minus is the now compromised housekeeping standard, not good at prices - one of our nights in the lead up to Christmas in a two bed condo was US$1000 PLUS the resort fee!! Eh?? And they' asking for more money for proper housekeeping on top of that?? Noooooooo!! There may not be an 11th visit for our family. .. 😞😞😞. ..!!

PS When I booked in a classic fat finger fumble I booked a condo instead of our usual townhome. They were prepared to allow me to switch. .. for US$600 plus the price difference. Thanks. After ten years a client. I expected better treatment.
