How to Get There
Well, I stayed in build 5 of the Junction vacation rentals. I don't want to name the unit. But my stay was so horrible. I never have has such a bad nights sleep between the bed and the temperature. The bed was the softest (no support) I have ever experienced. I had to sleep on the edge where the most support existed. It was not restful. And my mom was in the other room - same experience. Further, we had BOTH windows open and I slept without sheets (in shorts) and mom mom slept with just the sheet on. Still we tossed and turned all night. There is *no* air conditioning in this unit. It was about 50 degrees that night and still it didn't cool down in that unit. UHG!
Further the light switches has fingerprints. Disgusting. And the nice wood blinds they had were loaded with dust. My mom and I both sneezed after pulling up blinds for fresh air.
The place seemed ok clean but for the above. I'm not a fan of room scent/spray - the whole place stunk of a cinnamon type spray the whole stay. So I needed to open the whole place up to get rid of that.
I called the front desk about the above problems and they asked if they could call me back and didn't.
On that note, twice I spoke with a supervisor Lindsay before my check in who took my # both times. When I came in around 1p, she said that housekeeping was in the room and she'd call me. Then I called after lunch at 3pm. She said sorry there was a misunderstanding and it wasn't being cleaned then, but it is now. However, the lady who answered before her said it still wasn't started. This was an interesting fib I was told. Lindsay then said she'd go to the room herself and help housekeeping and would call me when it was done. 4pm is checkin. I had to call AGAIN at 4:17p. Lindsay didn't call, again. And they said in a happy tone, "Yes! Your room is ready." I wasnt as ecstatic. Bad front desk service.
Further, the $10 charge in the parking garage Aaron told me he'd give me never happened. No call or notification despite how organized and "on-it" he sounded at the front desk when I brought it to his attention. He seemed very organized and helpful. Another disappointment at the front desk.
Overall I give this property and stay 1.5 stars and a two-thumbs down recommendation.
This resort is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed. Everything was practically perfect. Except....no air conditioning. Which is fine, but it was super hot when we arrived. After several calls to the front desk, fans were delivered.
Even though we were right on Main Street, it was surprisingly quiet. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Shawna and the staff at Main Street Station are amazing! Shawna was available for questions and help with creating the wedding of my dreams. Everyone had a wonderful time and went smoothly. Main Street Station only has one wedding a weekend. We were able to decorate the day before and break down the day after. This made it even more stress free and allowed everyone to enjoy the reception. The location was perfect for the out of town guests to walk around main street Breckenridge and go shopping.
Stayed in Hyatt Main Street Station in a Quality Two bedroom apartment. Great location and good size room. 5 minute walk to Gondola, restaurants and shopping. Ski Valet. Ski shop at the back door. Free shuttle to local area. Will definitely stay here again.
I went with my 4 year old boy and expended one morning visiting the attractions for his age range. It was both entertaining and informative about the history of this and other towns around it. Will visit again with my family if I get the chance.
