How to Get There
If you dont want to sleep for your entire stay, then book a room here. Not only did we heard street noise the entire stay, we heard garbage trucks and 5AM and heard room noise from the rooms next to us as well as above us. We could actually hear the people next to us using the restroom and had footsteps overhead all night and morning. The fireplace didn't work. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. There is no parking, you have to valet for $29 per night. Dont expect to get a 4PM late checkout that american express promises. 1:00 was the latest they would give us. This is not a $500 per night property.
We had a grand stay at Zero George. The room was perfect and the staff was accommodating. Breakfast was upscale “serve yourself” and delicious. Afternoon wine and cheese was very nice. It’s a bit longer walk from the Market than some of the other places... but it’s also quieter than downtown. Great stay and we were there for three nights with no problems.
I came on a girl's trip and we stayed in the Garden Suite and we had the best time! From the staff to the espresso machine, wine and cheese hour and the bicycles I cannot imagine staying anywhere else while visiting Charleston!
I have visited Charleston almost every year for the past 15 years - its such a great little city! Staying at Zero George really made our most recent trip truly something special. The property is beautiful - elegant and understated - and the attention to detail is outstanding. They really have southern hospitality down to a science - highly recommend!!
Excellent location! Small, yet very comfortable. Walking distance from tourist sites. Service is great and very clean. Room was very romantic and decorated to match the hotel. The restaurant is superb!
