How to Get There
We stayed at the property for three nights in November and it was exceptional. The property itself is so charming, the room was very comfortable and the rain shower was very nice. The property is not in the busy hustle and bustle of the french quarter, but is easily within walking distance of everything we wanted and a great easy breakfast included with the room. It’s very quiet and calm with sweet sitting areas. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. I really liked that they were able to text about plans and answer questions - that’s an easy and modern perk. I would stay here again 100% and would recommend this property to anyone. We also had dinner here on Sunday night and it was very high end with a price-point to match.
We had heard about the food at this hotel so figured we would give it a try. Chef was very inflexible and would not meet our dietary needs. What really bothered us though was the demeanor of one employee there, a manager by the name of Adrian. He seemed intoxicated when we arrived, but we didnt think much of it. As the night progressed, however, he continued using the space as as if it was his own little club and was overheard saying some pretty negligible things to some of the "regulars". I would not recommend going here.
Zero George excels at gracious service. The handwritten note in the welcome packet set the tone for a stay that was full of attention to detail. As with other boutique hotels in town, guests have access to complimentary bikes, a wine and cheese happy hour, and an excellent breakfast. The location on East Bay was ideal for wandering and guests should also take note of the historic Grimke house across the street.
