What a special staff !

I stayed at Hotel on Market recently to help my daughter move into a new apartment on the Charleston Peninsula. It was so nice to have valet parking with all the loading and unloading I did, especially because I was traveling alone. I felt very safe there and I could walk everywhere for meals and shopping. The hotel is under renovation but my room was lovely, clean as a pin and the bed was wonderful. I think the most amazing thing about the property is the quality of the people that work there. From the valet staff to the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone was so warm, kind and professional. I imagine that working through a renovation with guests coming and going must be stressful for them but they make you feel right at home. Sharon, Kevin, and Charley were especially helpful with a few glitches while I was there. It will be my go-to hotel when I visit. I can't wait to see the renovation when it's completed at this conveniently located property.

One happy traveler

The Hotel on Market staff are incredible. Especially given that a major section of the hotel is undergoing a total renovation! From arrival to departure, the staff: ront desk, housekeeping, valets, to the on-site engineer provided a levl of service typically foundin only the most expensive hotels in major cities. The rooms are spacious, faultlessly maintained and supplied, quiet and very comfortable. On top of this, the location is in the center of everything. Walkable to all the hops, restaurants and historic sites. HIGHLY reccomend this hotel. Looking forward to it's next incarnation.

Perfect location

If you can afford to stay the night, do. The hotel entrance is tucked away on a side street, but with left turn you are instantly surrounded by one of the coolest places Charleston has to offer, the Market.

The valet was efficient, the staff was friendly, and the room had the most comfortable bed/sheets!

It was a very quick trip, one night stay, but the hotel staff was able to provide with great detail the must-sees of the town. An early morning and a quick walk to the market on a Sunday was the perfect way to begin the day. It was also supposed to rain and the concierges provided us with complimentary umbrellas.
