How to Get There
The Rhett House, was all I'd hoped a Bed and Breakfast in the South would be. Friendly people, great service, incredible food, and a clean beautiful space to spend our time. I'd recommend it to anyone and will plan to go back someday when we visit again. What a charming location and a charming place to be.
There was always something to be offered, whether a nice drink, cheese & crackers, cookies and milk, delicious desserts to end the night, and a wonderful breakfast on the balcony. I wish I were back there now.
The Inn is great and so classic for the era of this town of Beaufort. I love the whole town and the neighborhoods are beautiful and I would love to retire there. The Inn has good food, and good hospitality. The people are so friendly and I can tell they love their history of this Inn and the town.
We spent 4 heavenly days and nights and loved everything about the Inn. We definitely want to go back sometime. The Inn is charming and inviting. We felt like we had stepped back in time. The rooms are lovely and clean. Miss Beverly's breakfasts were amazing, as are her home made cookies, served in the parlor each afternoon with iced tea. Miss Anna, and all of the kitchen staff, were very friendly and accommodating. We ate outside on the front porch each morning and it was delightful. Karen's home made desserts every evening after dinner were a wonderful end of day treat. They were all delicious, but the key lime pie and creamcicle cake were our favorites. The lovely ladies who greeted us at the front desk each day (Parker, Amy and Brandy) were all very personable and warm. We really enjoyed talking with each of them. There is a lovely parlor where guests can sit and relax or read. We spent a lot of time outside on the beautiful veranda, watching the world go by. It's a very short walk to the waterfront area where there is a beautiful park and lots of shops and restaurants. Be sure to go to Hunting Island State Park. The beach has palm trees growing on it. Honestly, everyone at the Inn made us feel like we were special guests and they had just been waiting for us to come. Our stay there exceeded our expectations in every way.
