Great place to stay, great location

Great place to stay. Bed was a little uncomfortable. They need a duvet instead of a thin blanket. Complimentary breakfast was great. Beach chairs were great. Staff was friendly. Will stay here again on my next trip to Barbados.

Tuck neatly admist the popular South Coast of the island. SB has a fantastic location. The staff were amazing! Especially Lydia at front desk and Danielle from the restaurant. The rooms are lovely for such a great price. The rum punch on arrival, topped the icing on the cake.

Unexpected switch in hotels that resulted in me being at South Beach. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and delightful. Always a great location due to it’s proximity to Accra Beach and amenities. Will stay there again.

A great getaway

Saw this hotel online. Great location and Rockley Beach is just across the road.
The room was clean. I had the Junior Suite. However my shower had no hot water and was only a very low flow. It was fixed, but it took 2 days to do it. It seemed like no one tried to until I asked again and happened to see the maintenance man in the lobby who fixed it straight away.
Breakfast should also start at 7am.
It starts at 7:30. Tours pick you up sometimes at 7:30, so you don’t get breakfast.
Apart from these two issues it was a great stay.
Also be prepared for “laid back attitudes”.....it’s an island and everything is on island time.

3 stars

We got exactly what we asked for: 3 stars hotel and 3 stars experience.
Rooms was clean, kitchen good, bed too soft. Tv useless - only sport and cartoons, WiFi OK. Cleaning staff very nice people. Front desk professionals. Breakfast was a turture. Rude and unhappy people that expecting gratuities for extremely bad service, hot too, no AC and starting late 7:30
Beach close, but waves are too much, hard to enjoy and can't snorkel. Hotel provide towels and seats, but have to pay extra for umbrellas.
Other beaches was much nicer, cab one way $25-$60, plus for seats and umbrellas, many private clubs and hotels, so can't buy a drink or use restroom. Beaches difficult to enjoy, people remind you all the time that you're here not to relax, but spend money. Can't explore much, beaches are not connected, hard to get from one to another
Local food is good, but unhealthy and takes time to find it, have to keep asking random local people. Supermarkets have luck of fresh fruits and veggies, only over processed low quality groceries.
Taxi drivers across the road sharks, aggressive and rude. In general feel the whole time like a cash machine.
Being woman have to be careful, men are disturbing. Random man, taxi drivers, pretty much all of them sexually aggressive. I didn't feel safe, neither my friends.
Barbados only good if you're staying in 5 stars hotel, book private tours and enjoy pretentious bougie life style. If you like to explore on your own, it's depressing
Famous Flower Cave attraction hard to get and not worth the trouble.
Only would get back for business purpose and do not recommend to anyone
