What We Love

  • Family-friendly resort with spacious rooms just steps from the beach
  • Within easy reach of Pattaya's city center, but far enough from its nocturnal excesses
  • Swimming in two outdoor pools or in Pattaya Bay
  • Top Aisawan Spa therapies, including a spectacular two-hour, two-hand massage

What To Know

  • There's a free shuttle that goes part of the way to the downtown area; thereafter you share a local songthaew pickup truck or grab a taxi
  • While the adjacent beach is narrow, there's a wide pontoon barrier to separate ocean swimmers from jet-skiers
  • Pattaya's peak season (when the weather is dry and relatively cool) is from December through March

Family-friendly tropical retreat with spacious rooms and a stylish beach club overlooking Pattaya Bay

The Look

Set in a palm tree–studded tropical garden on a private stretch of Wong Amat Beach, the Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is a family-friendly retreat overlooking Pattaya Bay. A cluster of low-rise buildings with typical Thai red-tile roofs surround a large pool and wraparound wooden deck. Inside, the high ceilings, marble floors and oversize light fixtures keep things bright and breezy, but the main attraction here is the stylish beach club, where you can enjoy a sundowner looking out at the Gulf of Thailand.

Bed and Bath

This large resort has 353 guestrooms with no-fuss interiors (blond wood floors, bright white walls, splashes of burnt orange). All but the Deluxe Rooms come with balconies, and Executive Rooms offer club privileges including priority check-in/out, free newspapers and access to the Sunset Lounge. The generous bathrooms are appointed with rain showers, large tubs and Roger & Gallet amenities.

The resort’s cool, casual aesthetic is exemplified by the beach club‘s indoor/outdoor dining areas; from breakfast buffets to late night seafood suppers, this is the hotel’s social hub. There’s a beach right out front with plenty of private sun loungers and cabanas. You can have a local Thai massage ($10 an hour) right on the shore. There are regular live music nights at the beach club and themed buffet feasts, and for little ones, the climbing walls, kids club, game room and dedicated pool are sure to keep them busy for a while.

In the Area

Catch the shuttle to Naklua Road for a change of scenery, plus shops, cafés and numerous bars. Take a day trip to the Pattaya Bay islands, but do skip overcrowded Koh Larn. Pattaya’s land-based attractions include the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden elephant show, the spectacular Tiffany transvestite review and the Floating Market. In nearby Wong Amat don’t miss the massive, all-wood Sanctuary of Truth Temple. Beach Road in central Pattaya is lined with bars and bargain markets, while south Pattaya’s Walking Street is a unique and noisy zone of adult go-go bars and eateries.

Beach Bar

My review is on the Beach Bar only, not the hotel -Lets just make that clear as l've stayed at Pullman Hotels many times around the world and have always had a pleasant experience. Ok - So Beach Bar only...
As for the bar and staff.
Excellent excellent excellent - Very welcoming and professional staff. Extremely courteous, attentive and always smiling. Happy Hour is a great time to go there which runs twice daily everyday from 2pm - 4pm & 6pm - 8pm....Chang Draught beer on tap is buy 1 get one free for a 250ml schooner/handle - normally 150thb each which is a little pricey compared to other places but 2-4-1 and it works out to be 75thb per beer with complimentary bowl of very tasty peanuts and crispy basil leaves
along with priceless views of the sunset. Super comfortable seating allowing your feet to be in the sand on an upper level. Palm trees right there and when the sun goes down and fades on the horizon then the staff light the fire flames and light brightens up the palm trees. All there is to do is sit back and enjoy the sea breeze and the sound the ocean coming to the shore while enjoying a cold beverage.
Highly recommend and l would like to say a huge thank you to the staff on duty on the 5/11/19 which are ;Angelo & Ton...incredible service.
Also two extra things are the amenities are 5 star if thats your thing and it certainly makes a difference and while you having a drink if you feel like a swim then your treated as a guest and most welcome. Keep in mind this does not happen in all places and you can face a 2000thb fine if your not a staying guest so thats a real bonus on a hot day......
Highly recommend Pullman Beach Bar in Pattaya

Good value for the price. Their lanai rooms are old and poorly maintained in a separate building. Recommend to spend a little more to book their deluxe room which is in the main building.
The breakfast buffet is fine but definitely not as good as other Pullmans I have been to. They only have one restaurant in the hotel serving normal hotel international food. Their beach bar is nice but lots of people smoke there which makes it less pleasant.

Suggestion: Make the beach bar area smoke free, and set up a separate smoking zone away from family and kids at the bar areas

This is currently not a 5* hotel. Our room with a full sea view was not clean and the decor looked very tired. Additionally the AC unit made a banging noise every 2 minutes during the night. We believe it to be overpriced.
