Pullman Pattaya Hotel G
What We Love
- Family-friendly resort with spacious rooms just steps from the beach
- Within easy reach of Pattaya's city center, but far enough from its nocturnal excesses
- Swimming in two outdoor pools or in Pattaya Bay
- Top Aisawan Spa therapies, including a spectacular two-hour, two-hand massage
What To Know
- There's a free shuttle that goes part of the way to the downtown area; thereafter you share a local songthaew pickup truck or grab a taxi
- While the adjacent beach is narrow, there's a wide pontoon barrier to separate ocean swimmers from jet-skiers
- Pattaya's peak season (when the weather is dry and relatively cool) is from December through March
- Free WiFi
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site
- Room Service
Set in a palm tree–studded tropical garden on a private stretch of Wong Amat Beach, the Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is a family-friendly retreat overlooking Pattaya Bay. A cluster of low-rise buildings with typical Thai red-tile roofs surround a large pool and wraparound wooden deck. Inside, the high ceilings, marble floors and oversize light fixtures keep things bright and breezy, but the main attraction here is the stylish beach club, where you can enjoy a sundowner looking out at the Gulf of Thailand.
Bed and Bath
This large resort has 353 guestrooms with no-fuss interiors (blond wood floors, bright white walls, splashes of burnt orange). All but the Deluxe Rooms come with balconies, and Executive Rooms offer club privileges including priority check-in/out, free newspapers and access to the Sunset Lounge. The generous bathrooms are appointed with rain showers, large tubs and Roger & Gallet amenities.
The resort’s cool, casual aesthetic is exemplified by the beach club‘s indoor/outdoor dining areas; from breakfast buffets to late night seafood suppers, this is the hotel’s social hub. There’s a beach right out front with plenty of private sun loungers and cabanas. You can have a local Thai massage ($10 an hour) right on the shore. There are regular live music nights at the beach club and themed buffet feasts, and for little ones, the climbing walls, kids club, game room and dedicated pool are sure to keep them busy for a while.
In the Area
Catch the shuttle to Naklua Road for a change of scenery, plus shops, cafés and numerous bars. Take a day trip to the Pattaya Bay islands, but do skip overcrowded Koh Larn. Pattaya’s land-based attractions include the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden elephant show, the spectacular Tiffany transvestite review and the Floating Market. In nearby Wong Amat don’t miss the massive, all-wood Sanctuary of Truth Temple. Beach Road in central Pattaya is lined with bars and bargain markets, while south Pattaya’s Walking Street is a unique and noisy zone of adult go-go bars and eateries.
How to Get There
This hotel is ok, food choice on half board was good,
Ladies in club breakfast are ALL first class many thanks for looking after us.
Real stars are DOLLAR & HER TEAM at the Spa My wife says best massage she ever had received any where in the world, Highly recommend the Spa at the hotel!
We stayed here for 3 nights to end a whirlwind tour of Thailand and it was the perfect location. We booked the ocean view room that included breakfast, tea time, happy hour. We couldn’t be more pleased with the stay. The room was nice and comfortable, love the bathtub! The grounds were a bit limited, but our beach was nice and clean. I love that we were able to walk along the beach down to Pattaya Beach for people watching, jet skiing and other water sports.
We will definitely be back.
The hotel has a nice beach, good breakfast, clean room and very good service.
The staff is helpful, offering good guidiance and help, especially SHARM and MIKE.
Sharm helped us for the missing room card.Mike helped us for the convinient transportaion.Thanks.
We travelled to Pattaya expecting to see a replica of Patong. We were very surprised and jubilant to see that Pattaya doesn’t live up to its sleazy reputation. The Pullman G is about 20 minutes away from the heart of Pattaya. The hotel has a frequent shuttle bus to take you there, or you can relax in the less busy area around the hotel. The hotel itself is very well maintained and has all the services you need to have a great resort stay. The staff are super friendly, obliging and professional. As Platinum members, we had access to the Sunset Lounge which was a great oasis when we needed a coffee fix, a delicious breakfast or when we wanted to indulge in some evening cocktails and canapés whilst watching the sunset. The restaurant serves great food. My favourite by far was the khao soi which was a new dish to me. Apparently it’s a northern Thai dish not often found in restaurants. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. The hotel is definitely family friendly. It runs activities at intervals during the day that keeps both adults and kids occupied, or you can just relax by the pool or beach.
