Pullman Pattaya Hotel G
What We Love
- Family-friendly resort with spacious rooms just steps from the beach
- Within easy reach of Pattaya's city center, but far enough from its nocturnal excesses
- Swimming in two outdoor pools or in Pattaya Bay
- Top Aisawan Spa therapies, including a spectacular two-hour, two-hand massage
What To Know
- There's a free shuttle that goes part of the way to the downtown area; thereafter you share a local songthaew pickup truck or grab a taxi
- While the adjacent beach is narrow, there's a wide pontoon barrier to separate ocean swimmers from jet-skiers
- Pattaya's peak season (when the weather is dry and relatively cool) is from December through March
- Free WiFi
- Handicap Accessible
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site
- Room Service
Set in a palm tree–studded tropical garden on a private stretch of Wong Amat Beach, the Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is a family-friendly retreat overlooking Pattaya Bay. A cluster of low-rise buildings with typical Thai red-tile roofs surround a large pool and wraparound wooden deck. Inside, the high ceilings, marble floors and oversize light fixtures keep things bright and breezy, but the main attraction here is the stylish beach club, where you can enjoy a sundowner looking out at the Gulf of Thailand.
Bed and Bath
This large resort has 353 guestrooms with no-fuss interiors (blond wood floors, bright white walls, splashes of burnt orange). All but the Deluxe Rooms come with balconies, and Executive Rooms offer club privileges including priority check-in/out, free newspapers and access to the Sunset Lounge. The generous bathrooms are appointed with rain showers, large tubs and Roger & Gallet amenities.
The resort’s cool, casual aesthetic is exemplified by the beach club‘s indoor/outdoor dining areas; from breakfast buffets to late night seafood suppers, this is the hotel’s social hub. There’s a beach right out front with plenty of private sun loungers and cabanas. You can have a local Thai massage ($10 an hour) right on the shore. There are regular live music nights at the beach club and themed buffet feasts, and for little ones, the climbing walls, kids club, game room and dedicated pool are sure to keep them busy for a while.
In the Area
Catch the shuttle to Naklua Road for a change of scenery, plus shops, cafés and numerous bars. Take a day trip to the Pattaya Bay islands, but do skip overcrowded Koh Larn. Pattaya’s land-based attractions include the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden elephant show, the spectacular Tiffany transvestite review and the Floating Market. In nearby Wong Amat don’t miss the massive, all-wood Sanctuary of Truth Temple. Beach Road in central Pattaya is lined with bars and bargain markets, while south Pattaya’s Walking Street is a unique and noisy zone of adult go-go bars and eateries.
How to Get There
Not the newest hotel but looks like it’s had a fairly recent refit and finished to a high standard. Good pools and private beach with a bar makes it a great place to chill out. However the gym could be improved (and they have the space to do it). Location is a little way out off main Pattaya beach but I actually see that as a positive and there is a free shuttle anyway. Hotel staff really friendly and always very helpful!
Unfortunately I can’t give 5 stars as they are still using disposable plastics, straws etc. But if they didn’t it definitely would be!
I went there with my wife and my parents in law. The hotel and the lobby are very top notch. The staff is efficient and helpful (special to the philipino guy at the reception, forgot is name).
Ps: you guys should do something about the shower mixer. You need to be a scientist to shower with a bearable temperature)
Weekend break with grown up daughter - two sea facing rooms on the 8 th floor with executive club access for cocktails , afternoon tea, breakfast .
Hotel on the beach 2 pools with lots of arranged activities super friendly, polite and helpful staff.
The activity co-ordinator did a great job in engaging people
Rooms were clean and modern
Great sunset view over the sea
On site massage.
Hard to fault, I would suggest you ask for a sea view room on high floor if you can , from the design of hotel it seems many rooms will not have a great view (our rooms did have a wonderful view
Seems a great place for kids activities - Easter egg hunt etc
One of Accor's best brands, Pullman delivers 5 star quality at reasonable prices. Family friendly with a small play area, nice fitness center, good pools and a small beach. Staff are friendly and attentive, although some barely speak English. Food was ok, the big seafood buffet was pretty good, but the quality could have been better. Chinese tourists are adding new flavor, with pack gathering and quite loud and unruly. Overall highly recommended.
Spectacular view, room is so clean & cozy. Very precious time to spend with family. various activities to do. spa-swimming-beach walk. nice location easy to access, quite & peaceful.Free shultter bus to Pattaya. Love it
