Pullman Pattaya Hotel G
What We Love
- Family-friendly resort with spacious rooms just steps from the beach
- Within easy reach of Pattaya's city center, but far enough from its nocturnal excesses
- Swimming in two outdoor pools or in Pattaya Bay
- Top Aisawan Spa therapies, including a spectacular two-hour, two-hand massage
What To Know
- There's a free shuttle that goes part of the way to the downtown area; thereafter you share a local songthaew pickup truck or grab a taxi
- While the adjacent beach is narrow, there's a wide pontoon barrier to separate ocean swimmers from jet-skiers
- Pattaya's peak season (when the weather is dry and relatively cool) is from December through March
- Free WiFi
- Kids Club
- Parking On Site
- Room Service
Set in a palm tree–studded tropical garden on a private stretch of Wong Amat Beach, the Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is a family-friendly retreat overlooking Pattaya Bay. A cluster of low-rise buildings with typical Thai red-tile roofs surround a large pool and wraparound wooden deck. Inside, the high ceilings, marble floors and oversize light fixtures keep things bright and breezy, but the main attraction here is the stylish beach club, where you can enjoy a sundowner looking out at the Gulf of Thailand.
Bed and Bath
This large resort has 353 guestrooms with no-fuss interiors (blond wood floors, bright white walls, splashes of burnt orange). All but the Deluxe Rooms come with balconies, and Executive Rooms offer club privileges including priority check-in/out, free newspapers and access to the Sunset Lounge. The generous bathrooms are appointed with rain showers, large tubs and Roger & Gallet amenities.
The resort’s cool, casual aesthetic is exemplified by the beach club‘s indoor/outdoor dining areas; from breakfast buffets to late night seafood suppers, this is the hotel’s social hub. There’s a beach right out front with plenty of private sun loungers and cabanas. You can have a local Thai massage ($10 an hour) right on the shore. There are regular live music nights at the beach club and themed buffet feasts, and for little ones, the climbing walls, kids club, game room and dedicated pool are sure to keep them busy for a while.
In the Area
Catch the shuttle to Naklua Road for a change of scenery, plus shops, cafés and numerous bars. Take a day trip to the Pattaya Bay islands, but do skip overcrowded Koh Larn. Pattaya’s land-based attractions include the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden elephant show, the spectacular Tiffany transvestite review and the Floating Market. In nearby Wong Amat don’t miss the massive, all-wood Sanctuary of Truth Temple. Beach Road in central Pattaya is lined with bars and bargain markets, while south Pattaya’s Walking Street is a unique and noisy zone of adult go-go bars and eateries.
How to Get There
The rooms in hotel are nice and Staff are friendly, even the security staff got warm welcome when we arrived in hotel. Front desk Vliw was really helpful when I check-in. Overall is a great experience as this is my first time travelling in Thailand.
we have been visiting lot of hotels over many years and have stayed in all parts of the hotel accomodation. we stayed here months ago with my wife.. everything was perfect. room is clean and cozy. service level setting to new height. amazing pool. this hotel provides a perfect place for relaxation in the heart of busy city. and i would like to give a big credit to this girl at the lobby and if i am not mistaken her name is sharm. what an exceptional service. she go beyond her job to helped me. was a about to go to the phone shop to fix my phone coz nobody can help me., but good thing is, this smart girl asked me if she can help me with it, and she did. and she also made a reservation for our transportation to bangkok.thanks to this girl. will definitely come back agan..
We stayed at the family suite, service at reception and all over the hotel and restaurants was very friendly and attentive, special mention to Sharmane at the lobby reception who always smile and she handles our request successfully. The room, very spacious which had separate kids room the bed was very comfortable - something that I consider very important. The room was very neat and well-kept throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was good plenty of options and service was provided well within the time limit they mentioned. The kid zone at the hotel had a lot of activities which my son enjoyed thoroughly. The pools were well maintained and the private beach was very relaxing, and this hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the main area.
Loved our stay here - Thank you once again to all the staff at Pullman Pattaya for making our holiday a memorable one!
Excellent room, service, atmosphere and food, served sea food with the sea view. This place is the good choice for the holiday with the family. We never forget this moment and we'll exactly come back.
This our second visit in 15 months. We had been to Phuket and Hua HIN previously several times and were looking for a change of scene. We were very happy to have chosen the Pullman G. Although not overly large it packs a lot in of what we like in a small area. There are 5 pools. Two at the beach and three at the side area of the hotel, the pool lanai area. We had a pool access room and for the price paid very happy.
I have given a longer review of this hotel at our first stay last year. Not much has changed since then. The by the beach bar area has been upgraded and is a good place for happy hour drinks and a snack. We really enjoy the Beach Club executive lounge. Top service and good drinks. The accompanying food is hit and miss. First night it was excellent, other nights not so. Breakfast there was very good. The restaurant is good. Not quite excellent but we enjoyed all we ate there.
If you do not know this area it is in Naklua and this is the quiet suburb on the beach near Pattaya. The beach is ok, water quality marginal. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars within 15 mins walk. The Pullman shuttle is free and takes you into Pattaya proper. Goes every hour from 1 p.m. a new super mall terminal 21 opens soon and that is also only about 15 to 20 mins or so walk.
