Overview

A breezy, luxurious beach resort with stunning views – includes breakfast and plenty of perks for longer stays

The Lowdown

A tranquil beach holiday waits for you at the InterContinental Pattaya Resort. The resort is nestled amidst lush foliage of a hilly paradise, with buildings peeking over the tops of a tropical canopy, ending with a private beach at the bottom of the resort. The luxurious space offers stunning views of the gulf of Thailand and a host of activities to drive away the strain of a busy city lifestyle.
This five-star paradise has bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence as well as a score of fantastic reviews and it’s easy to see why. Guests are treated to world-class service and a wide array of activities that span from relaxing spa treatments to day trips out to the nearby Coral Island and more. Take a glass-bottom boat for a spin to watch tropical fish dart in and out of coral forests, jump onto the complimentary shuttles to downtown Pattaya for an evening out, or simply soak in the sun at the resort’s private beach.
The resort pays homage to Thailand’s culture, with touches of Asian inspiration giving rooms and the resort’s exterior a breezy look. Manicured gardens, clusters of palm trees and three lagoon-like, jewel-toned swimming pools are scattered within the compound, easily accessed from the rooms.

I can't think of anything to say that doesn't start with Wow. Luxurious hotel I really can't fault it. The service is excellent everyone from Concierge to the Pool guys are so warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The pool areas are very nice great place to relax. Buffet breakfast was awesome. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you into downtown Pattaya and brings you back which is fantastic. The views are unbelievable. One to note...the hotel is quite spread out (which adds to the peace n quiet) so there can be a bit of a walk but don't fret if walking is not for you they will send the golf buggy to collect you.
I highly recommend the Intercontinental Pattaya Resort for your next holiday.

Outstanding

We are currently on day three of our three night stay at the Intercontinental in Pattaya. We chose a club pool suite room and it absolutely lived up to our expectations.
The ambience in the hotel reflects its hideaway position from the brashness of Pattaya and Jomtien. The service in the Club Lounge for the evening canapés and cocktails Is exceptional. The staff arranged ferry tickets for us, provided advice for the local island excursions and they were a pleasure to deal with - they were so pleasant, articulate and professional. A special mention for Win, Palm and Mint. The management should be proud to have retained such excellent staff as this. In all, 5 out of 5 for all aspects of the Five Star Experience. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice but old hotel with impeccable service

The hotel buildings are all row-rise 4-buildings situated around the main lobby/restaurant area. You would need to have a short walk or ride a golf car to your room. Room is large and beautiful but looked dated. Service is impeccable. Breakfast buffet is not incredible but adequate. Overall is a pleasant stay.
