A tranquil beach holiday waits for you at the InterContinental Pattaya Resort. The resort is nestled amidst lush foliage of a hilly paradise, with buildings peeking over the tops of a tropical canopy, ending with a private beach at the bottom of the resort. The luxurious space offers stunning views of the gulf of Thailand and a host of activities to drive away the strain of a busy city lifestyle.
This five-star paradise has bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence as well as a score of fantastic reviews and it’s easy to see why. Guests are treated to world-class service and a wide array of activities that span from relaxing spa treatments to day trips out to the nearby Coral Island and more. Take a glass-bottom boat for a spin to watch tropical fish dart in and out of coral forests, jump onto the complimentary shuttles to downtown Pattaya for an evening out, or simply soak in the sun at the resort’s private beach.
The resort pays homage to Thailand’s culture, with touches of Asian inspiration giving rooms and the resort’s exterior a breezy look. Manicured gardens, clusters of palm trees and three lagoon-like, jewel-toned swimming pools are scattered within the compound, easily accessed from the rooms.
How to Get There
I boated to Pattaya on the Hua Hin / Pattaya Ferry, just a two hour journey. The InterContinental's first class service started the moment I disembarked. A InterCon staff member was waiting for me and took my bags escorting me to the parking area where a hotel car with driver was waiting to whisk me away.
The resort is less than ten minutes from the pier in its own private enclave with private beach. Great restaurants, their Infinity restaurant being the one I liked the most. Breakfast offered many choices, including my favorite, Eggs Benedict. Multiple lagoon pools were perfect for working on my tan.
The always helpful smiling staff added to the enjoyment of my stay and I look forward to a return visit.
If looking for a place to stay in Pattaya, look no further. This hotel is away from the city center but thats the beauty of it. Breathtaking views of the ocean, 5 star service from ALL staff. Highly recommend.
I had a wonderful stay in this resort. Stayed in a pool side room which was very nice and got then upgraded to an ocean front suite, which was fantastic. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast good, beach front restaurant is very romantic in the evening. It is good to note that the Hotel has a lot of stairs. Over all I felt like I was on an island, but still just few minutes away from Pattaya’s services.
Very clean and very good staff, and very nice accomodation in traditional buildings low level not high rice hotels.
was in 2008 and was there for two weeks had a great time and lot of fun they have also good breakfast and main corse.
Hotel has lot of trees like tropical forest. It is kind of quiet hotel. It is about half and hour to centre of Pattaya. No entertainment or convenient store near by. We stayed in garden view room. Everything in room seems ok, but will be better if hotel can provide bigger size of TV and good day bed. Room rate here is high comparing to other 5 star in Pattaya so I expect more. I suggest those who are interesting in this hotel and love to see good view from the room should select other room type (and spend more). Breakfast should be more variety of food and more table too. Check out took a bit long time. Anyway they provide excellent service.
