Contemporary crash pad a block from the beach with a rooftop cocktail bar and a sleek spa

The Lowdown

Next to the Avenue Mall and a block from the beach, the Hotel Baraquda is a contemporary crash pad with a super-central location in Pattaya. The 72 guestrooms are bright and breezy, with a turquoise and sand color scheme, and all come with iPod docks, DVD players and tea- and coffeemaking facilities. Splurge on a Baraquda Suite for a separate living room and a Jacuzzi. There’s an impressive array of facilities given the low room count, including a spacious outdoor pool, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and a serene spa with a modern fitness room. The Sea restaurant is a split-level all-day dining spot overlooking the pool, and the Sunset Lounge serves light bites and cocktails up on the roof.

In the Area

Pattaya’s main attractions include the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden elephant show, the spectacular Tiffany transvestite review and the Floating Market. In nearby Wong Amat don’t miss the massive all-wood Sanctuary of Truth Temple. Beach Road in central Pattaya is lined with bars and bargain markets, while south Pattaya’s Walking Street is a unique and noisy zone of adult go-go bars and eateries.

The BEST in Pattaya
Reviewed 6 days ago

After more than 30+ stays here, it is absolutely the best hotel in the city, no matter of which element is more important for you (location, staff service, ambience, rooms, pool, price, etc) you can not find a better hotel than Hotel Baraquda Pattaya.

Having said that, I still need to highlight, that absolutely outstanding job is always done by the entire front desk team (Ms Gigi & rest of the crew), one the friendliest and most professional in entire in Asia that I have seen during my frequent travels.

It will be Baraquda employees who will make you come back again and again. :) Enjoy!

Nice hotel with good location

Good location close to Hilton and beach road, next to Avenue Center with a huge supermarket and restaurants. We had a suite with a nice balcony, the fridge, however, was very, very small, not even room for ice, thats not fair for a suite that size and price.

Rooms are very nice, The beds are very different but very comfortable for us, great pool for kids and adults food is very tasty and well presented, staff are always there to help, very good location a short walk to the beach, close to bars and restaurants.

Perfect stay - one of the best in Pattaya
Reviewed 1 month ago

Recently stayed at the Baraquda for a few nights stay. The location couldn't have been better, centrally located and transportation options to everything. Service by the staff was top notch. At one point some guests moved in next door that were slightly loud at night and the next day the staff moved me to another room. Amenities were top-notch (unfortunately I did not have time to to use them all). Will always be staying at the Baraquda in Pattaya from now on.
