How to Get There
This was my first stay at the Landmark having stayed across the road in the original Mandarin Oriental several times before. Quite different and more chic/boutique - with all the mod cons you could want. Epic minibar and the usual service was faultless (leave your glasses out - and a branded cleaning cloth is left, leave the laptop of headphones out... a smart cable tidy is left! Small things - that make a difference.
Location is spot on for my trips, which usually mean meetings in central/IFC.
I'll be back again and cannot fault this hotel (although I would recommend booking tables in the bar, even if you want a coffee meeting for 30 mins!)... its busy.
I’m a demanding client and don’t usually write reviews but Mandarin Oriental has won me over as a brand. This particular property is luxurious and the Landmark mall is one of the best in Hong Kong. The hotel’s impeccable service and attention to details is just amazing. Note that I’ve stayed at the best hotels in the world including George V in Paris. This stay made me want to look for a Mandarin Oriental anywhere I travel.
I know that I'm fussy and difficult to please so the fact that I truly have not one bad word to say about the Mandarin Oriental is AMAZING!! - our stay The Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong was sublime. The staff, the service, the attention to detail and beautiful hotel surroundings were just impeccable. The whole experience left me feeling that my expectations are achievable and apparently with effortless ease....although we know that the hard work that goes into running something so smoothly takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.
Room was perfect, our room was upgraded, which is a big suprise! Front desk Guillaume and Marine are extremely helpful and welcoming, answered my questions and advised great restaurants near the hotel. The location is wonderful, very convenient to the subway.
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental hotel is my favorite while I am in Hong Kong. Either for business or for pleasure this hotel is alway fulfilling all my needs and it gives me the feeling of being home. Luxury location but discrete and never over exposed. ideal location and very high quality service. Staff is extremely prepared and helpful. I love to come here.
