The mod interior of Cityview Hong Kong is vastly different from the charmingly chaotic streets that surround it. The eco-friendly hotel boasts airy, minimalist interiors and plenty of greenery. Its lobby is marked by a statement green wall, dressed completely with suspended foliage. It is a leader in green efforts amongst its Hong Kong peers, awarded the CarbonCare Label and gold-certified by EarthCheck in 2016. Designed with an eco-friendly standard, rooms are simple and stylish, with energy-saving fixtures and biodegradable amenity packaging. To unwind, head to the hotel’s Sauna Room, a wellness space comprising a steam bath room, whirlpool, massage room and a spacious rest room.
Located along Nathan Road, the hotel is the perfect base for those seeking the cultural centre of Hong Kong. Stumble upon popular street food haunts, find a good number of Michelin-recommended street food stalls, visit the multitude of local markets that light up in the evenings or shop to your heart’s content along Yau Ma Tei.
How to Get There
Loved the hotel and location. Great room. Staff friendly and efficient. Will use again. Excellent location for shopping and restaurants. Would recommend. Good buffet breakfast with wide selection to suit all tastes.
A charming hotel located between tourist spots Mong Kok (around 5 minutes walk) and Jordan (around 10-15 minutes walk). Nathan Road is right in front, and the bus stop for the A21 airport express is less than 10 minutes' walk away. The Kowloon station Airport express bus drops you right at the doorstep, and there's also a 7-11 and Circle K just around the corner. Yau Ma Tei Metro station is also accessible in under 5 minutes via two entrances. Prices are good compared to other hotels of the same class, and while Yau Ma Tei itself may not have the same night activity as neighboring Mong Kok or Jordan, both are easily accessed, as is the rest of Hong Kong via the close proximity to the bus and Metro stations.
Staff are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms in the lowest-priced rooms may be a bit of a tight squeeze, but are nevertheless excellent value for money. The one thing I can't comment on is the food, but that's another point in City view's favour as good food is so easily found within walking distance.
Already looking forward to my next visit as I type this.
Stay one night and pay supplement for upgrade premier, totlly worth it with bigger room size and king size bed.
Check in was quick and front line staff is so helpful that suggest some good restaurant nearby for us.
Great hotel close to MTR, worth a try!
