How to Get There
Had a 3 night stopover here on way to Australia. Room on 47th floor with great harbour views. Very comfortable and spotless clean. Staff were friendly and service exceptional. Great lobster bar and grill. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed for three nights and had a great stay, rooms a great size with super comfy beds, service great and location right in the heart of Hong Kong. The hotel bar served great cocktails, in room breakfast fab with GF products and the gym was pretty well equipped.
Would definitely stay again but do ask for a room which overlooks Hong Kong, the view is incredible (friends had this) while I had a view of not much but we were all the same category.
We arrived at the airport and were greeted by a Shangri-La representative who took our bags and led us to the car. The car had WiFi and quickly sped us away. We knew from the service so far that it was going to be special. I think the driver called the hotel because as soon as we arrived there was someone waiting to greet us at the door. She led us straight up to the room where she checked us in. The rooms are beautifully done in a traditional luxurious feel with chandeliers and oriental touches. The room was beautifully decorated for my daughters birthday. They sent a cake as well as balloons! In your room, we also found a traditional tea set waiting.
The club lounge is a beautiful salon overlooking the harbor. They have plenty of dishes to keep you satisfied while having a cup of coffee looking out before or after a long day. The staff was one of the Best trained staff I have encountered. Whether in the lounge or downstairs at breakfast, they were hustling nonstop to make sure nothing was out of place or to cater to you.
The beautiful hotel as well as the superb service made our stay most memorable. We would be delighted to stay here again next time.
The room i had was beautiful. I was welcomed with a teapot in a traditional wooden basket and warmers. A great mix of modern luxury interior, fabulous view of the victoria harbor and native Chinese trinkets.
They have weird f&b rules on two of the restos in the hotel. 1 is claiming to be french resto on the top floor but REQUIRES minimum order even prior to admitting you to the restaurant.
The executive lounge charge a certain but for certain reason, I needed to be downgraded room wise to access the lounge.
I mean who did that policy? Lol
