Dense and vibrant, the city of Hong Kong is absolutely jam-packed with towering skyscrapers, countless varieties of food and endless displays of a rich and beautiful culture. Extravagant tea, mouth-watering dim sum and the freshest seafood will tempt you from every window, while the bustle of this international financial center will mesmerize you as you walk through its maze-like streets.
Serving as a refuge for in-the-know travelers and art enthusiasts alike, Hotel Stage is set in the vibrant area of Kowloon. From the tranquil lobby, with its calming tree mural, to the Zen-inspired guest rooms, this hotel is perfect for finding a bit of inner peace after a day in this fast-paced city. Not only are the hotel walls covered with contemporary art, but the hotel features a dedicated creative space – Muse With Us – complete with an international book collection, gallery and wine bar. And if all that creativity gets you hungry, check out Kitchen Savvy for delectable Italian cuisine served in an inviting, modern setting.
The rooms offer a simple, elegant vibe, with light wood finishing, smooth lines and a calming minimalist design. They’re also spacious, thanks to storage innovations like a concealed vanity and flexible partitioned panels. Large windows create a bright, spacious feel and afford panoramic views of Kowloon’s iconic landmarks.
Italian favorites are served at the hotel’s restaurant, Kitchen Savvy, which impresses with its casually elegant interior. The restaurant’s large windows offer a good view of the busy city. In the evenings, you can drop by Muse Wine Bar to savor the many wines and spirits from around the world, accompanied by a delectable selection of treats.

How to Get There
We stayed here for 2 nights & on the last day, we were able to get a 2 hour later check out without any trouble. Hong Kong is an expensive city & to find a reasonably priced hotel that ticked all the boxes was a plus & even more of a plus that we were not disappointed. You are not going to get a harbour view property of a similar quality for this price so we chose one in Kowloon as opposed to one on Hong Kong Island for the ease of getting to & from the airport. On their website they detail the ways you can get to the hotel. We printed this out and brought it with us. I would advise you to buy an Octopus card from the counter at the airport on your arrival. Without one your transportation around HK is not going to be very easy. Don’t pay for the Airport to city rail trip on the Octopus card though as it is cheaper to just buy a ticket for this at the same time as you buy the card. We trained to Kowloon Station as they suggested & then caught the free bus from Kowloon Station to the hotel. The only problem with the bus is that Hotel Stage is the second to last stop on the bus route before the bus returns to the station so the bus trip actually took longer than the train trip from the airport to Kowloon! Once at Kowloon Station I would recommend getting a taxi to the hotel. Once at the hotel, for your future transportation needs walk out the hotel door and turn left, then left into the side street which will lead you to Nathan Rd and left again at Nathan Rd there is a bus stop that you can wait for a bus to the Star Ferry terminal which will take about 8 minutes. Use your Octopus card to pay for the bus, Star Ferry, underground, peak train etc..... There is also an underground station very close if you prefer that.
The design of the rooms is ingenious & you end up with a good amount of useable space in a small area. There is a sliding countertop which reveals a hand basin & a sliding wardrobe door that can be used as a privacy screen. We loved the little thoughtful touches all over the room. The mobile that you can take out with you is excellent for using google maps to see when the next bus is going to be at your stop & what route number you should look out for. Make sure you put the mobile on the charger every night though, the battery only lasts for 1 day. We dined in the restaurant for two breakfasts, one lunch and one dinner and the food was excellent for every meal. The food is inexpensive by HK standards. They will give you a voucher for a free drink downstairs at the gallery/bookshop/bar and another voucher for a half priced drink there. It is a nice space but if you are paying for the drinks the prices are elevated & the same drink will cost you much less up in the first floor restaurant. The hotel is new & spotless & everything works faultlessly. It’s not very often we stay in a hotel that we are as happy with as we were with this place & we would return in a heartbeat!
Great location, close to Jordan station, the night market area, shops and restaurants.
You get a complimentary smartphone to use during your stay, in and outside of the hotel.
Super clean and cleverly designed room. The shower is the best!
Breakfast is to be ordered from a menu instead of buffet.
Staff is very friendly.
Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stage in Hong Kong. Our room was comfortable with an excellent shower which is always very important in the HK humidity.
The best thing about the hotel was the wonderful staff and especially Mr Andy Tam, Rooms Division Manager who helped us not only with the room, but with everything else as well, including dinner reservations, directions to the markets and any other request we had.
On our previous visits to Hong Kong, we always stayed in Tsim Sha Tsui district thinking that Jordan, although cheaper, was too far. No need to worry! Plenty of taxis, buses and walking distance if it's not too hot!
Book via the hotel website is my best advice! We got a room upgrade and a complementary breakfast. And both the room and breakfast were very nice. All staff were really helpful. The only thing missing was a place to sit and work at which it was ok to bring an outside snack.
Hotel Stage is a cleverly designed hotel with smart modern rooms and very efficient service. Its in a great location to see Kowloon, whether you are on business or on holiday. It is close to the MTR (Metro/Tube) for easy access all over Hong Kong. It’s a 30-45 minute taxi ride from the airport.
